Thank you!! Just got mine last night and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting notifications. Realized through your tutorial that I turned that feature off last night while playing around on it! This was SO helpful, I now fully know my new toy!

I have the 5 dots on top with the middle dot blue. I've tried the 3 push restart with the device plugged in, that didn't work. I can not get anything to show up and it's charged over 50%. Any suggestions?

Just received as a gift. Love the look of it, but I am having a problem with turning on the watch. It seems like I have to tap or swipe the screen several time before it does anything. I have been trying to set the SCREEN AWAKE for days now and it won't change. I am getting to a point of sending it back. Can anyone help me out here please.

Does anyone know how to remove these options from the watch? I don't want to have to scroll through a bunch of things I don't need to see the one thing I would use... My charge 2 let me reduce what was on my watch and access the rest through my phone app. Does Luxe also offer this and how do I delete the watch stuff? I only care about steps and time and HR. I don't want exercise or settings or menstrual or any of that to show up on the watch itself. :) Thanks!

It's nice that the Fitbit Luxe has a water lock feature, but I don't think I'd swim with that or shower with it.

I just got a Fit Bit Luxe and on the daily Activity it says calories burned 2450. is that a goal? or what actually burned?

Actually burned. Fitbit tracks total calories, not just exercise calories. “Because your body burns calories even if you’re asleep or not moving, you see calories burned on your device when you wake up and will notice this number increase throughout the day.”

Have you been able to set an alarm? The alarms are in the Apps section, which you access by swiping right or left from the clock face. I showed how to set alarms in my “hands on” video

My luxe says it is locked WHEN it displays. Says to double tap to unlock, but nothing happens . I just set this up two days ago. Can I correct this through the app?

It sounds like water lock is enabled. You have to forcefully double tap to unlock.

@@wearablewhisperer Thank you for replying. My phone gets an error message saying that it can't connect to my fitbit. It just synched but the error message keeps coming up. The message blinks so fast that I can't even hit the 'ok' on it. The watch itself seems to be working. It counted my steps. My phone had the same count. Not sure what to do.

It is always listening and tracking. It’s like having an ankle monitor except you aren’t a convict and don’t get arrested when it’s removed😂 I’m tempted to just keep mine in the car when I’m not wanting to use it!

If you look at the display when it is going off it should show a red z toward the bottom. Swipe up from the bottom. You may have to tap on the red x after that but I think swiping up will dismiss. If you want to snooze I think you swipe down.

Fitbit will only give a high heart rate notification if your heart rate is high during inactivity. I’d recommend a Garmin or Apple Watch if you want your watch to notify you when your heart rate reaches a specific number during exercise. You’ll need to make sure the model you choose has this feature though…

I am not able to turn the screen off. The display is always on. I have it set to screen wake auto and screen time long. I would like it too turn off and turn on when I move my wrist. I must be doing something wrong. Any advise?

Can you look in a mirror or have someone else check to see if the screen actually goes off when you put your wrist down. If you’re standing, it could just be sensitive enough that it comes right back on when you check to see if it’s off. The other way is to physically place your hand over the display. That should manually temporarily turn off the display. There is a new always-on display setting that could be enabled if you just got the device or just updated it. I’ll be looking into that feature soon (haven’t update my tracker yet), so maybe I’ll make a video showing how to enable/disable that, but hopefully you can find that setting before my video comes out.

Unfortunately, Fitbit does not include the ability to turn off their trackers (only the smartwatches). Don’t ask me why, I want to be able to turn mine off, too.
