I feel for the first time I'm such a long time that whoever the manager chooses to start I would be happy with. He sees them day in day out at training. I trust in Ange. As fans we all work off hindsight, if we don't get a result we all assume it's because he didn't start with a different player One other thing is that every spurs player who has played this season has shown that they are capable of a great performance, I'm talking Davis, La Celso, Kulu all of them If Ange says this starting 11 is our best shot I'm with him

@mist.5600 he is a composed ball player. As his stats show. Romero also isn't in the same league as vertonghen or alderweireld. Ledley King wasn't a massive ball player as in long ball but that wasn't his game

Whatever lineup that Ange will come out with, we always bottle it when we have the opportunity to go above Villa in 4th place. I don’t see any different come tomorrow as we will bottle the job again. I hate to say that our players negative attitude on the field, half the team just don’t want to pull up their socks and work hard for each other. Or maybe I am wrong and I hope that I am wrong. But there’s still something very lack in defence, why are we still conceding so many goals even with VDV coming back in defence. Our wing defence are not being covered well whoever play in front of Porro and Udogie. There’s no cohesion there. We just can’t keep clean sheets because these whole lot of players don’t defend as a team. Our teamwork sucks! Bissouma sucks because he is the number 6 who is supposed to be the backbone of defence, but his performance is crap. He looked lazy and fast becoming Ndombele 2.0. Just look at the top 3 teams, they very work hard for each other and defend as a team in numbers.

@limsteven5935 we conceaded one goal since van de van return. But I agree with you on everything else! We are terrible. We don't take advantage when we get the advantage of going ahead of teams. Our old spursy tag went for a little while but has come back to normal again

Not Bissouma ... Bentancur is a much better player in the No:6 role ... Bissouma has been poor since back in November and IMO needs to be benched.

Being a rusted on Sarr fan i would say he has got to start, we need his tireless off the ball running. I think we will have far too much class for 'em all over the park, 4-1 for me................The Aussie Spurs Fan.

I don't know why, but I've never really been Cristian Romero fan. Even when he is on the ball, I feel he slows our attack.

Honestly why not play lo celso and kulu, they played great together when they maddison was out.

I think Kulu is no wide man at all for me, to me he looks a far better player if he plays there if he runs straighter and stays wide, by cutting back inside he does just fuck things up and changes the whole set up of our team for me.

I've always thought Romero could play further up the pitch in a no.6 role. Obviously now's not the time for experimental line ups but something I'd like to see one day

Is Sarr carrying injury? He has been ordinary the last 3 games in a row, so much that Ange had to bench him the last match.

This game could be a banana skin for us, Nottingham will attack and i think pedro and bassouma will need to be careful keep their position and keep it simple, werner could be the hero as we will likely look to the wings on our counter attacks and i see timo getting a few clear and open chances. Maddison and sarr need their shooting boots on and need to take a few more chances on goal ratger than looking for that all too predictable pass over on the wings esp with only son to shoulder that striker position on his own. Could be over in the first half if we play to our strengths and keep our heads but spurs being spurs i see a hard fought 1 -0 win. If all goes to plan this could be a high scoring game and id goe as far as predict 5-1

Bentancur has not exactly been a perfect fit to the current Spurs game, IMHO. And his team work with Kulu has been a bit better than the one with other like Maddison, my impression has been.
