True, but also shapeless jeans with low elastane has been popular recently, which makes the butt look very flat. Since Ive realized this I buy flared jeans with some stretch and they look really good.

For me I assume its because its more expensive/labor intensive, on the shelves fast as possible for a cheap profit.

I wonder if there’s any reasonably- priced jeans other than the Levi’s wedgies that mimic these YSL jeans. Either way we better start doing our squats.😂

this is why I wear dresses and skirts. same with sneakers, sandels are wayyy cheaper and comfy. also don't have to worry abt how ur body looks in a flowy dress

You can get similar jeans for like £50 No idea about long term quality but I have some jeans from weekday that do that

these jeans are, according to another comment, approx. $920. it’s really the price tag that’s going to make them look good. it’s weird to add the passive aggressive edit rather than directly responding to the person who commented.

An example of that are Zara stores (often outside of Europe). They are expensive yet many have acrylics (soft until one-three washes, where the material gets uncomfortable and NOT like what you bought in-store, sadly.).

Amen! or just don't put any back pockets especially for girls jeans... pockets that are small and far apart creates an illusion that you have a wider hip. And having no pockets really shows the roundness of the butt cheek which kinda makes it look plump, puffy?~ if that makes sense

Honestly I think that kind of cut looks a little trashy. It's like the leggings/yoga pants with the printed on shadow under the butt, it might look more impressive but I can tell they're doing it on purpose and it's eye catching so now I feel like they're the type who are trying to get people to stare at their butts and now I feel weird about them. If it's too obvious that someone is trying to make those features visible and maximized it just feels uncomfortable imo.

Heels don’t automatically make a less amble butt rounded. It’s the jeans and the heels elongate the leg.

Heels make no difference if you maintain good posture . It can actually make some people look like they have a smaller but bc you have to engage different muscles to wear them .

There is a lot of truth to this! I stoped wearing flat shoes with jeans after seeing how heeled shoes elevate my denim look. Also getting jeans alter to fit you silhouette can help too.

Nah, I've been skinny for decades, and all my fat gets sent to my butt and skips my chest. 😢 That said, my glutes worked really well for me when I used to play soccer competitively and do track. It made them even more structured. There are some people who just have a bum and some that don't.

All depends on body shape/bone structure. My friend naturally carries weight in her stomach and bust but has very slim legs and a small butt, even though she is plus sized.

I would not know but their disappointment tells me they should shop around! Those outrageous prices for something that gives a look you do not want….NO. If I was young again, with or without resources, I would work from $….up…$$….$$$. Start affordable and you might find the perfect fit.
