I wouldn't say AJ12s are necessarily super popular at the moment or more hyped all the sudden. I just think some of us want certain colorways of the 12s ; especially the OG colorways. But even still the Playoff 12s sat and restocked many times and were far from instant sell-outs on those restocks, Cherry 12s didn't exactly fly off-shelves and they restocked numerous times. Don't think a lot of the younger generation / younger collectors appreciate AJ12s as much as us older collectors. But not mad at it , usually easy cops and can often double-up as well.

The jumpman coming into the toe is one of my favorites about the 12. It’s so cool. The 12 was my first jordan when I was a kid I had the cherrys. Had flu games as well. 1st grade baby.

See stuff like this is why i just bought a pair of OG taxis off ebay for like 55 bucks and restored them. The fit, shape and everything about the shoe is so much better then any retro. Dope review tho brother!

12s have always been one of my favorite OG models , the 11s & 12s original releases really took my love of sneakers and Jordans in particular to another level. Especially as both those OG releases represent to me MJ's second 3-peat era as well. But at this point i am trying to stick to mostly OGs in general , including AJ12s. I'll just wait for the OG AJ12s Taxis at this point , JB been dancing around with all these Taxi variations in recent years , its time to just give us the OGs already. Hoping with now the Bred / Flu-game 12s not looking like releasing in 2025 that JB finally gives us the OG Taxi 12s next year ; or at least sooner rather than later.

The sad part is that the pre school and toddler pair doesn’t have the red Jumpman tab on the lateral side making them look like an actual pair of Taxi’s. I’d probably get a pair if I see them in a discounted price at the outlets, but definitely not worth the $200 price tag for me.

These are the ones to copp, chicago 12 i see nthn wrng especially whn u look at the 13 it just fits the mold. Now I may not dive out the window day one, i may stalk thm for a bit see if they sit still long enough to get that DIZZY! Lol howevr they are nice.

Got these in at work and they are clean. I like when 12s have the white base but for $200+ I'll have to pass. Mainly because I'm getting ready to move, so dropping $200 on shoes isn't an option atm😅. But later on? If I could get these for a slight sale, or retail, I'd love to rock em! I do agree that the changes you would've made would actually take this up a notch. 😮💨

Don’t forget the Black Taxis from last year! Though they were not the taxis everyone was looking for, they were a great pair. Even though the Playoffs ( silver/grey side tab, both have red tongue hits) are not an exact reversal, I would call these the Reverse Playoffs.

These so fire Jordan taxi was always my favorite shoe but I always said they could’ve took that little piece of gold out and made it red it’s more Jordan like and Chicago style and now they did it 🔥🔥🔥🔥

To be fair, there _are_ red taxis in some parts of the world. A bit counterintuitive, because even though red can be a bright colour, it has a tendency to fade into the background depending on the shade used. Of course, you want your taxis to be easily visible, so, yellow taxi, sometimes bright green.

Another great overall video review!! Thank you to Chris and Jodi and very much appreciated as always. Not really a fan of the Air Jordan XII 12 for , IMHO, a bit bulky for me. But, dig the original colorways. Especially the playoff colors. Not feeling the "Taxi Flip" colorway. Would rather see a remastered, NOT reimagined, AJ 12 "Taxi" retro.

The red hits on the shoe is nice. Red liner on the inside would have worked with a mixed red/black/white colored tab. ELIMINTATE the "Taxi" connection from this shoe altogether.

I would go with Sony. Their Spider-Man video games are awesome. I would bring that team to work on certain non Spider-Man titles bc they have a better sense of all the characters, and the stuff that was in the comic or cartoons they adapted those changes to the video game, which was awesome

This would have been the first colorway shoe for the 12's if they didnt decide to add in the gold and yellow taxi color, i can see jordan wearing these and I considered them to be the true red taxi's instead of the ones that dropped back in march

1st. I have been waiting for this Jordan 12 Review and I am reassured in my future purchase, not because your breakdown was perfect but because you called them "bad boys". Weird that the mudguard and upper is so thin, but OH WELL. Bad boys are Bad boys. I wonder if Nike and their stockholders ever could have foreseen their entire profit margin would be determined by whether or not you call a shoe "bad boys". 2nd. Raised on DC, so DC for me. 3rd. QOTD : What shoe would you waste a Genie's wish to have re-release and what shoe would you waste a Genie's wish to have NEVER release again?

Jordan 12s are always appreciated, but something about this seems... weird. Strange to say because white/black/red Jordans always seem to hit properly. As far as today's question: Sony. Sony really needs to get their heads out of their butts. This question should be revisited after Gunn has a chance to work on the DC stuff and we can reassess the situation. But for now, Sony.

JB messing it up again with their "flips" and "tweaks" on the best classic colorways, the same when they stick storytelling on a colorway that we've never seen before, but not only that, all the mess with the shapes and materials is also wearing fans out. Those are not quality products inspired by the greatest player ever anymore. Hope they get back in the right way soon. About the Question of the Day, definitely Sony Spider-Man Universe, is a completly mess and most of the times the cast is the one unfairly receiving all the hate (not you Leto, you deserve it 😂). I hope they do justice to Andrew's Spidey because he was really amazing (also not pun intended). Shoutout to you guys and have an excellent week!!!

That red stripe just looks bad. The gold hits on the royaltys looked bad as well. The design team either has no real ideas or just banking on people buying jordans just because. We really need someone like you to make a video on sneaker culture. Kids (teenagers, younger adults) have no idea why theyre wearing Jordans outside of their parents having bought them or seeing everyone else do it. Theres no way people getting into sneakers gave any ties to Jordan footwear outside of everyone else wearing them.

Same reason as Chris, I would go to Sony and have them redeem Toby’s Spider-Man 3 and Garfield’s Spider-Man 2. Those are a huge miss opportunity to make some serious impact of the history of cinema.

I’ll go with DC….i think DC has so much untapped potential. They should profit off their brand split. Do more anthology movies like The Batman and The Joker. The also could do a Dakota Verse and highlight their black super heroes. They can capitalize on the street level heroes to keep a tight knit universe.

Feige had ike pearlmutter for those early. As soon as he left marvel went downhill. I think Kevin Feige would benefit from having someone to curtail his more destructive story instincts. Having complete autonomy is not always a good thing because YOU think that YOU are right all the time and its necessary to have the right people there who have the respect, tenure and authority to be like "Kevin, No. We are not making the silver surfer female. Remember how we talked about this when you wanted Tilda Swinton to play the ancient one even tho she isnt asian? Yeah we let you have that one but not this time. We need to make money on this so everyone will stop picking on us".

I snagged the Space Jams a couple weeks ago and im kind of interested in these as well, but unfortunately these shoes dont release here in Korea because the design reminds Koreans of the Imperial Japanese flag. Nike apparently stopped releasing the Jordan 12 in Korea in 2016 due to complaints.
