And she is an omega level muatnt meaning her power over the weather has no limits. She can control the weather on any planet and even in space and has commanded solar winds and cosmic storms before. Her range is from the atomic by controlling hydrogen atoms all the way to cosmic.

Storm can actually do all these and more, she literally dubbed herself the weather witch, weather goddess..etc..and she proved it in the comics/live animations. if you're to blame anyone for her weak display of mutant strength in the Xmen movie franchise, that would be none other than the script writers.

@@meep9231 While in the comics, Clyde was already dead when he first appeared in Weather Wizard’s origin story. He was the one who created the wand that Weather Wizard used to manipulate the weather.

Because then the x-men will be useless. I mean what is wolverine's use or cyclops or the others except the professor she will need no one.

Wanda Maximoff of MCU also has potential to make other Avengers useless. But they gave her a reasonable explanation why she didn't use her full power. That's a good storytelling. Too bad the writers didn't do the same with Storm of X-Men.

This is actually weaker compare to the movie version. Storm can make hundreds of tornadoes in an instant wherein this he seems to need some and focus to create gust of wind.. the big difference is, this one is a villain so he doesn't need to hold back and doesn't care if he hurt or kill someone. That's why he can use his power freely. Storm on the other hand needs to hold back especially if she needs to use her power or fight someone in public.

You must not know anything about storm besides what you've seen in the movies. Do your homework.

Also it was the MOVIES I was referring to not the comics, because funny enough I have done my homework and know that she is an omega level mutant capable of killing everyone on the planet by cutting of the air to your lungs. And is capable of so much more. Hence the reason for my first comment for the MCU, as the Marvel Films completely watered down her powers and I don’t want the same to happen again to my favourite X-men.

Do you want the story to be boring or not? It's the same thing with Superman taking damage. If the characters who are super strong or superfast are at Max all the time, nothing can hurt them, and then there's no plot nor do any of the villians matter. You gotta get over that if you're going to enjoy the world of superhero comics. There are a lot of really fin villains who do things that probably wouldn't work, but we like to use them anyway.

It’s their job as a writer to figure out the solution to that problem which you know they could’ve nerfed him a lot more. Weather Wizard is a great example of this, if they kept it true that The Flash can only run at Mach 2 then it’d fine as Weather Wizard is a direct counter with his lightning. Lightning goes at Mach 355 so it’s more than 100 times faster than The Flash but it still relies on his perception which is no where near The Flash. Instead they made him able to dodge Weather Wizard’s lightning easily which contradicts the Mach 2 statement and makes it only more jarring.

But when world needed him most he vanished

Marvel & DC characters have similar powers. They were never meant to be compared or to be DC or Marvel version of that character who was similar powers as another character. (Like saying Weather Wizard is DC's Storm)

Weather wizard is woefully undrequiped when compared to storm. She can control weather all the way to the cosmic level and has no limit to how much she can do. She an omega level mutant and the strongest weather manipulator in all of marvel possibly comics.

@@taureansun1501 Storm is more powerful and i mean more powerful but if they were teleported randomly somewhere and then are told that they need to kill the other one in order to escape, weather wizard stomps How the battle would go: Storm would make his death quick so her first gut would be to summon lightning above him. Weather wizard doesn't get affected by lightning, it gives him time to create a tornado in storm's stomach sucking all her insides. Ww wins. Or Storm would convince ww that they need to work together to find a way out and not fight each other. Mardon won't agree because he is bloodlusted, he made a tornado in her stomach and makes it suck all her insides. Ww wins

@@sami7946 but here is the thing storm can feel the elements things like earthquakes, tornadoes and such she can feel before it even occurs this is because of her inherent bond to the elements in the area if weather wizard is doing something She would know as the elements start to move to his bidding and she can seize control. But this is all dependent on the writer who would write the story

Weather Wizard is a city wide threat..Storm is a threat to planets...yes I said planets since she can create weather phenomena on earth, in the vacuum of space as well as other planets...that along with controlling cosmic weather...it's a no brainer really
