That looks amazing. You make it look so easy, but I still struggle to achieve natural looking weathering.

Hello there. Nice work, great video. My tip: I also use powders from scrubbed pastel chalks. Brings lots of nuance with a great variety of colours. I apply them with make-up applicator, the little sticks with small sponges at the ends the ladies use to put eye powder. My second tip: have your own, don't take Mrs. Bunters' ;-)

Its just a bit of practice. Try it out on old, scrap wagons. I have a whole box of broken rolling stock!!

Nice one, man. :) The moulded detail is really nice on those and your expert weathering really brings out the depth between those frames and panels. :)

Thank you. The detail on the dapols is quite nice and sharp. A wash or powder brings it out nicely

Great video and great affect. What lacquer do you use if you don’t mind me asking?

Thank you. The final layer coat is Vallejo Matt varnish. For intermediate lacquers (in-between paints) I'll use an enamel laqcuer such as humbrol, because it won't be affected by the thinners etc and your earlier work won't be damaged. I'll put some links in the description
