Somewhere it says Hina has been sunshine girl for a year and she would get spirited away if Hodoka didn't save her. Imagine a girl or woman goes missing once a year from being a weather maiden. It's quite crazy

Suzume No Tojimari is Makoto Shinkai's next film. It's a good one also. But of these last three films Your Name is still my favorite.

@@Centane My 4th favourite from Shinkai. Your name, Suzume, 5cm per second. Garden of words have beatifull rain animations, but some people found the story disturbing. I liked it, this and 5cm per seconds feels like stories inspired by live experinces.

@@frantaf Imo, The Garden of Words is by far his best work. Your Name is fantastic but a lot more overrated than it should be, even Shinkai himself said this. :)

Knew you would enjoy this. Fairplay I haven't seen a bad Makoto Shinkai film yet 🤞 The rain effects in this film (and 5cm Per Second) are just so beautiful.

19:41 yeah 3000 yen is really little. It's like the cost of 3 meals. He does get free living, meals, and internet though and literally no one else would hire him so I think it's a pretty good deal. He doesn't need to pay rent.

We can assume that Hodoka is being abused at home. 4:44. You can see also the bandages and bruises stop later because parents probably don't want to be suspected by the police after he ran away 2:22 15:00 30:50 30:58
