My favorite movie of all time. Have always loved dinos. Btw, its a mix between CGI and stop motion action. JP was the first movie that set the stage for CGI in the future. Watching it in the theater, i remember it well. Jam packed , valet was full, lines were long, theater was so jammed and NOBODY left their seat during the movie. I heard a scream, looked over , three of my other friends were there in the theater as i was with another three friends. It was amazing. I remember watching this at the Irvine Spectrum, will never forget it.

Great reaction. Great editing. There was a lot of talking on this movie so is understandable that you don't have things to react. But is good that you pay attention and absorb the story line. When Jack Nickolson wasn't answering the question I was worried you were going to miss something because you kept repeating "he has to answer the question". Just trust the movie. Enjoy the drama.

Forrest even inspired the lyrics for John Lennon's song "Imagine" "No possession's" "No religion too". Very clever. Hanks is a huge Beatles fan so he probably came up with that clip. I lived through every event in this movie except Elvis before he was a known. I remember everything from Kennedy on. I even saw Lennon on the Dick Cavett in 71 that appeared in this movie. I was 14 at the time, it was so cool too see John but Yoko, not as much. Cavett had so many amazing guests on his show over the years. Peace ❤

The saddest part of this movie is seeing Ken Miles and Lorenzo Bandini at Le Mans. All of us motorsports nerds know that less than a year later, sadly, they would both be dead. Ken, of course, was killed testing the J-car in August of '66 and Lorenzo would be killed in May of '67 during the ill-fated 1967 Monaco Grand Prix... Two incredibly sad losses in motorsports history! RIP Ken and Lorenzo...

The reason dude called him baby killer, sadly enough, is that's exactly what happened in Vietnam. There was no discrimination in who's life got taken. Women, men, children and babies. It was a very bloody and unnecessary war that was fought so international bankers could make money. War is the most profitable venture. Most of the wars in our history were faught for profit, not for freedom😢

You really need to watch the movie multiple times to really appreciate the brilliance of the story and direction. It is interesting to see someone's first take which was very close to what I remember mine being like. Mine was WTF did I just watch? Then I wanted to watch it again knowing what I knew and it blew the whole movie wide open for me.
