Hi Surina! I don't actually have a rigid heddle loom - have you seen Kelly Casanova on KZfaq? She does a lot of rigid heddle tutorials 😁 I use rare earth magnets to hold the cartoon - I'll show you in detail in my next Studio Vlog that will be uploaded this weekend 😁

Do you use a tensioning device of any kind? How do you maintain warp tension as your weaving grows? (I'm trying to learn tapestry weaving on my own, and figuring out what kind of loom I like best!)

Hi Alayna! I use an Ashford loom (you can see a review of the loom on my channel) - if the tension is getting slack, I can tighten the tension by turning screws at the top of the loom. If you don't have a tensioning device on your loom, ensure you warp up nice and tight (and even!) so your tension is not affected as you are weaving. Another way of maintaining good tension as you weave is by using the 'lazy line' technique - I will talk about this more in an upcoming video, which will talk about how to keep the edges of your tapestry straight :)
