Күн бұрын

This video is the first of a series where we take a look behind the scene of how WeatherWool is made. Eventually, we'll go all the way back to the shearing of the sheep, but we wanted to get right into the heart of the process and show you how the wool is woven. (It also happened to be the next step on the to-do list.)
In this episode, we feature Material Technology and Logistics based in Jessup, PA, USA.

THANKS ... YES ... we would love to see US manufacturing flourish again. But costs of operating in USA are high compared to many other jurisdictions. So, I think, American manufacturers must offer superior quality and service. --- Ralph

I really enjoyed that. Thank you for sharing. When the 70 plus year owner is operating the forklift and helping to load the trailer, that's my kind of business. That process seems so complex and difficult to make large quantities. It is awesome to see that this country still has the machines and skills to make it work. Oh, and good job on the video. It kind of felt like I was there, and many my curiosities and questions were answered

Ralph and Debbie are the best and their products are top notch as well. Waiting on my Basic Vest to arrive in a few days to add it to my other WW garments. To add the cherry to the sundae, apparently Justin Verlander works on their wool. 😂. -Clay

Kudos to everyone involved! I view Weatherwool along the same line as the classic Swiss made watches. Everyone recognizes that Swiss watches were world renowned for their quality and attention to detail. That is something that I feel is lost in today's world with the mass production capabilities due to cheap labor overseas. I buy Weatherwool products because there is nothing that comes close to the quality. As others have stated, they are expensive but in this case, I do believe you get more than you pay for. Many times when people talk about buying American made products it is in reference to cars, Ford, Chevy, etc... In my opinion, the quality just isn't there (and I own a Silverado). Ralph and his family are truly doing America proud by creating a product that can't be matched anywhere in the world. There is nothing I love more than when someone asks me about my Weatherwool and I can spread the word about this great company and their products!

I can never get the Anorak! Everytime I look it's unavailable in 2XL! Been looking for the last two years! I'm gonna be 61 this year and I'm running out of time Ralph....Lol....Right now I'm buying from Filson because their product Mackinaw Jack Shirts are available but I have my heart set on that Anorak! Had I known you lived in South Orange I would have sat outside your house like a student waiting on his Karate Instructor to accept him! I pass that area every once in awhile! Oh well, I will keep waiting! Oh by the way; Great video!

I cannot state how insanely high the quality is of Weatherwool. Pick one up. Are they pricey? Yes but you know what folks? Cry once but once. You can pass this down for generations. It’s not a purchase it’s an investment and it’s American made. I don’t work for Weatherwool either. Just a satisfied customer.
