@WeatherWool21 күн бұрын
Looking forward to hearing how it goes for you!! Just be sure to do it under controlled conditions unless you are already accustomed to frigid water. Also, the design of the Poncho is such that maneuvering in water might be an issue!! From a much more normal, everyday perspective, wool really shines in HUMID COLD weather. As humid cold air pushes into the garment, the wool will pull water from the air, capturing it internally, drying the air inside the garment and creating heat as it does so. THANKS ... enjoy the summer ... COLD will be back to the Northern Hemisphere soon enough! --- Ralph

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Abbott on the front porch of the Adirondack Hotel in Long Lake. He took the time to talk with me and share some pictures. How fortunate I was. In the video he tells the story of meeting Rodger Menard and not knowing he was special to the sport just another angler. I now have a story like that myself. I thought I was just meeting another angler who shared the passion but now I know I didn't just meet any angler I too met someone very special to the sport. Once again it was a great pleasure shaking your hand sir. INCREDIABLE FISH

We have customers all over the world. For Canadians, there is no additional cost ... that is, no import duty, and shipping is free. For other countries, shipping is usually about $30, but other governments (EU for example) will frequently impose various duties and VAT. Best Regards -- Ralph

I mean this as a compliment: This is a great advertisement for WeatherWool. It's a better endorsement of WeatherWool than any sales pitch could ever be. It's honest, both about the physical properties of the wool and the host's experience, and it's as educational as it is fun to watch. Great job.

I have been keeping an eye out for the restock of your jackets and i have to say.. in 4 months basically nothing has changed in terms of inventory. There is no point in being awesome if it's impossible to buy any of the products.

We have a 12-18 month production timeline. We are doing what we can to go faster but we won't compromise the product to do so. If you don't place a pre-order you may not be notified of availability. We have shipped many garments since November. Best Regards -- Ralph

@@WeatherWoolA small 2 months later, again, amazing brand, amazing fabric, incredible unreliable production. For example, i've had a neckgaiter on backorder for like half a year, zero updates about the North Maine coat in about 6 months.

@@dimi7055 Thanks for the kind words regarding the company and Fabric. Nobody is more eager for production than we are. BUT we won't compromise the product to get something out the door. We have shipped a great many products in the last 6 months or year. Just not the ones you are waiting for. We have Production Status and In Stock Now pages on the website that are kept current. All the Best -- Ralph
@dimi70552 ай бұрын
@@WeatherWool No hard feelings, you are a great person! But in the clothing world it's all about having stock. 70% of people impulse buy clothing when the weather changes, after 6 months when it's summer again the last thing on their mind is a jacket. I hope you get the production up to date one day!

I have a two piece suit made by the Yakutian People of Northern Siberia. It is made of heavy wool with a soft wool lining. These people live in the coldest inhabited city on earth and they depend on these suits to stay alive. I can guarantee it is the warmest thing I have ever worn. They think -40 is a warm day. Schools don't close until it gets below -54C.
