Samuel Gotard "Antique Woman" This is a beautiful song, I used the Shazam app to get the name of the songs.

One of the houses pictured said built in 1970 I believe that might of been 1870. Just a typo I imagine. I enjoyed the video.

The vacant lots 💔💔💔. I’ve seen two cop cars in four minutes. Must be a priority crime area.

Brush Park was where a good percentage of the Detroit Area "Muckety-mucks" resided, that had made their fortunes - BEFORE the motorized vehicles and all those associated with them took all the attention!

.... upon viewing this posting, im missing any real historic preservation, other than... spotty at best. Yes, its a good thing, but any sense of vintage neighborhood is not seen in these clips. More of a "new age/beginning" construction feel.. which, is still good, but alternative to a historic feel as a neighborhood.

The city was over-built during the high times, all based on ONE economy...cars.

There used to be hundreds of those beautiful Victorian mansions in that area until the owners moved out and the squatters and dope fiends moved in and literally destroyed everything. Detroit is still a sad façade of whal it once was.

The construction of the highway was the beginning of the end for Brush Park.

Just a shame there isn't anything to look at while you drive around haha. absolutely nothing to look at... and to think of that assholes who will buy and live in the new construction just makes me sick... would be something if NO ONE bought any of those new construction crap houses/apts/condo's and made a statement to the developers and people making all kinds of money of this gentrification that WE DONT WANT YOUR CRAP! WHY Detroit,. did your citizens let this happen!?!?!?!

All these new buildings could be anywhere in the world. Nothing interesting to visit and look at.
