This was the best video I've ever watched. I'm just getting started with wedding videography and this video paints a very realistic expectation of my possible workflow. The Sony A7iii is a beast of a camera in terms of low light and battery. I shot an entire feature on it, that got a bit of attention for its impressive cinematography. I really am loving sony for narrative and weddings. Shot a bunch of weddings on sony cameras and it always has done great work for me! Thanks Matt for posting this great behind the scenes video.

I don't particularly trust the equipment and the sd card 100%. Since the time of vhs I always had a camera on the tripod. Open image with the wedding couple and capturing the audio. hugs here from Brazil and congratulations for sharing your experience.

One question I would like to ask is if you maintain your shutter speed double the frame rate throughout the day or do you crank up the shutter speed or use filters for outside conditions especially!?

Interesting to see your angle on a wedding day. My approach is totally opposite...I never direct people and never use a gimbal. Good to see the how other videographers work. Thanks.
