I'll be sharing a Wedding Scrapbook Layout Idea with you in this tutorial. You will learn how to create an elegant double layout using SVGs, a 6x6 paper pad, and you'll even see how I've made my wooden background paper . The layout is completely customizable simply by selecting other colors of cardstock.

Thank you Janice! I just keep repeating the same colors, but bring in a little randomness with each layout. So far, I think it's working well. The hardest part is deciding which of the 5,000 photos to work with next.

Thank you so much! I selected the colors based on the actual flowers and building. I keep repeating those colors as a common denominator on each new layout, but I mix in a little randomness depending on what is on my desk to play with.

This layout is stunning! Those colors are my favorite, so calming. I also loved the faux wood grain paper technique, looks ridiculously easy to do, and yes the “pollen bursts” makes it look like knots in the wood! 😅

Thank you so much! I've been sticking to the softer colors because they match the natural aspects of that day...the flowers, greenery, lights and sky. If nature created it, I figured those colors would play well together.

Absolutely stunning! I have made woodgrain paper before with a masking technique but this method looks much easier so I am excited to try it. I hope you do a finished flip through of this wedding album because it is beautiful.

That is stunning!! Yes, they are eucalyptus leaves as this stamp was designed for the Australian market & didn't sell as well as they expected, because that protea is indigenous to Sth Africa, whereas we have the waratah which although a protea does not look like this at all. It came out either late 2019 or early 2020 as I was given one as a freeby by CTMH. They are a lovely flower & grow well in Australia but are not our State flower in NSW. 😀 The eucalyptus is cinerea & grows in the southern slopes of NSW down to Beechworth in Victoria.

Proteas grow very well in Australia. My parents have one and I know a lot of people who grow them.

Beautiful! So did you and your mom both make a wedding album for your daughter? I just watched the video of your mom’s book, and it is equally gorgeous! I still haven’t started on my daughter’s book. I find all the photos are overwhelming

@@AndreaSherman_GIRLplusPAPER Yes ma'am. I purchased this specfically to do this layout! lol So do I use the page layout that cuts the whole floral piece? I tried to do that, and it gave me a 12 x 24 and when I shrunk it, it distorted the flowers so wonky! I'm new to this cricut thing with the digital stuff! :~

@@tinastewart9868 I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Most likely, the 12x12 base pages are causing you grief. Either delete them or hide them using that little eyeball feature in the layers panel. Then, you won't need to resize the flowers.

Hi Cindy, yes, it's Baby Aletha. We did all of her signage in it, so I wanted to stick with that font.

I realize this video is from 2022, but I can't seem to find the SVG file on CTMH website. Is this file still available? Our only child just got married and I would love to use this file for their scrapbook. Thank you for your help.
