The “Paint It Black” is my favorite scene of the show. Well, one of my favorites. My second favorite is…well, you’ll see in episode 4.

When he tells Wednesday that she is kooky, and she says she prefers spooky, its a reference to the Addams family theme song.

Thing was a Magician with a green suit on. The only way to make it look real, was for it to actually be real.

This show was so refreshing and such a fun little streaming binge. It was much better than I expected it to be from hearing about it and the trailers….but also better than I expected it to be after watching the first 2 episodes. The cast of characters, the acting, the directing/cinematography, the love shown towards past iterations material of The Adam’s Family, the nods and Easter eggs, and some of the writing all are way better than I ever would have expected. Plus it being set up as a magical high school type series I was expecting it to be more of a CW vibe. And it did have moments that felt like it was in that realm but the majority of it is way better than it has any right to be.

This show was like Sabrina meets Teen Wolf meet’s Hogwarts

Wednesday was actually good ngl. LOT"S OF SUSPENSE. Also I feel like there was some Harry Potter shit going on but yeah, I loved the series. Jenna Ortega portrays Wednesday really well and I love how they brought Christina Ricci. I was expecting Gomez to look different than what I had in my head but it's fine. No spoilers but just wait until you get to the dance scene(you might have already heard of it) but it's so damn good. Tim Burton, LEGEND. Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas are classics. FUNNY HOW YOU GUYS ARE REACTING TO WEDNESDAY ON WEDNESDAY lol. Tradition right there. Great reaction guys like always!!!!!

I like the style of Tim Burton's films, the mix of humor/horror captivates me, there was no other work more appropriate for him to make a series of. For those who know the Addams Family, you can better understand the nuances of the series and the characters.

The show was a good adaptation and it was good to see Christina Ricci (original Wednesday)come back. However, it is good as far as tv shows but doesn’t hold a candle to the movies esp part 2. Debbie and Wednesday carried that movie on their backs

Oh, well now Blake has to react (along with the rest of you) to the two Addams Family movies from the early 90s, The Addams Family and The Addams Family Values. I mean, absolute classics. It's also one of those rare instances where the sequel is better than the original.

I'm with Blake about the fight coreography lol it was pretty solid. :) I thought it was a fun show I really enjoyed it, and Jenna killed it. My thoughts after the 1st episode were something like this: - really like the artistic choices they made with some of the scene compositions and camera angles. Tim Burton knows his shit no doubt - that rendition of Paint it Black was outstanding - Gwendoline Christie is absolutely stunning and she is a really good actress - Catherine Zeta Jones is gorgeous no matter what makeup she wears I was also surprised how quickly I was able to fall in love with a hand but then I met my wife and she did things that really opened my eyes lol :)

There are plenty of versions out there, by Vargas herself as well as other artists, but Vargas is my favourite. It's a Mexican folk song derived from the legend.

I remember seeing Jenna Ortega on Disney Channel and then seeing her in the series “YOU” years later and I thought she was a very good actress. Of course I still think she is an incredible actress and I was excited when I saw that she was going to be in the future Scream films. I haven’t watched the movie X which I know she’s in but when I saw the trailer it had stuff that I would rather not see 😂. In 2022 when they released the teaser for this show (5 months before it came out) showing what she would look like as Wednesday with Thing on her shoulder I already knew that I was gonna watch it even though I had never watched “The Addams Family” still to this day, and I am glad that this became one of my favorite shows to watch! I am excited for season 2 🙏🏾!
