In this video I prepare to begin a scarf by winding up wee hanks of yarn. Come along with me while I use my yarn winder in a different way. No talking only sounds #asmrvideo
I am using a Pickle Jar yarn kit from Tangled Poets - Aberdeen’s Wool

👋🏽Hi Katrina! Great work YB! Yup! I ran into the same issues. I have just been placing the loop of yarn on my arm and winding it in a ball by hand. I can follow the yarn as it unwinds sort of how the swift would spin, if that makes sense. I don't get as many tangles that way. Excited to see your start. 🤗💗🤗

Thought you might pick several random hanks and Russian join to make a larger ball 🏀 I usually use a tp roll or piece of paper to keep the balls from collapsing, and use something in the center when so small a ball, same to keep the ball from collapsing. Stay safe. Good to see you 😊

Yes, indeed, you are correct I’m going to try use an easy join but I don’t think I’m going to join all of the mini skins together at once. Hi Lottie, happy Saturday my friend! I am going to be making a bias scarf 🧣 . The recipe for it was in the kit that I purchased. It’s a scrap, busting project, or in this case mini skein. The pattern is simple but beautifully displayed the colors. I’m looking forward to it.🥰❤️🤗
