I'm on day 45 without weed, i watched all your videos, i was really bad but that was exactly my mindset."I'm not hungry, i can't do shit, it is what it is, lets keep going and see how i'll be feeling in a month".That first month was really a challenge, but now i'm eating more than i can remember, doing all the things i was doing when i was high, and i'm enjoying it a lot.I'm just worried that i can have a relapse, but at the same time i'm going out with my "addicted" friends and they are smoking like usually and i really don't feel the need to smoke when i'm around them. Thanks for your content, it has helped me a lot in this dark times.Lets keep fighting guys, we can do this.

10 year user here. Past years I've been waving in and out of addiction. It was very heavy few years ago. Did 1.5-2 months sober. I'm just so stressed and depressed. It's hell to live with sober anxiety. Had a 3 day weed relapse. Was magnificent at first. Second and third day started being meh. Coped with alcohol today, to ease off the anxiety a bit. Damn I think about my loved ones dying over and over. Even if all my close family is alive. I always cry and living like my parents are dying in withdrawals. I'm experiencing losing them and it hurts so much.

Have been three days with no smoke after 12y of an addiction, I have never felt this good in my entire life! but the guilt still haunting, I have spend probably over 100k in these passed years for just smoke, I lived in scandinavain country smoke here cost high as hell. I have been paying for smoke. I calculated from last year was not less than 1000e a month which mean I have spend over 10k in 2023. I can't really get over this guilty but I hope I will never get it over, and remember that I will never smoke or ever spend a dime on Cannabis ever again!

The only thing that really helped me was to consume in moderation, quitting is not sustainable in the long run. The triggers will always be there, and you could still relapse after stopping for more than one year. So that means you would either relapse or simply switch to a different vice. The all-or-nothing approach causes more harm than good. It is what it is

It's not about quitting. It's about adopting and then crystalizing a new identity where you don't automatically revert to those behaviors when you're stressed, celebrating etc. I'm a recovering alcoholic and lifetime cannabis user. It's not even on the table for me anymore, the thought of becoming a guy who gets stoned and drunk disgusts and embarrasses me. As long as you reduce it to 'quiting' you're right, it's not sustainable. Grow up

I’m on day 39 without weed after 8 years of very heavy use. I don’t even think about smoking weed anymore, and when I do think about it I’m thinking how happy I am to be off of it. I have INSANE insomnia and that’s the only thing I absolutely hate about it. The first 4 days were absolutely terrible and I slept 6 hours total, but now I’m doing better with my appetite , motivation, etc.

If you really want to quit you can and it won't be a issue if you don't want to quit and try to it will be hard and you'll always have cravings you need to froget about it completely

Thank you for making this video, big man. I've gone from chronically smoking weed constantly- every minute of every day; to once or twice a day, trying to get it down to nill and then attack my nicotine and alcohol problems and finally be free from these mental chains :) It's mostly a battle of the mind, no matter which addiction it may be There may be physical effects, but they're simply side effects of the mind and bosy returning to normal. ~It is what it is~ Good luck to all, and thanks again Doc

Thank you for helping me put my recovery journey into perspective. I've been telling myself I wanted to quit for the past 3 or so years, but this year I'm actually doing it. Since I started seriously trying to in December of 2023, today marks my longest streak cannabis free (smoke, edibles etc) at 27 days. And each day is getting a little easier. The cravings still show up from time to time but between my accountability partner and just telling my self to drive straight home instead of taking any detours, I know I can do it. Thank you.

The best solution would be to consume less and take longer breaks in between, you could do something like having 2 to 3 sober days a week where you would be completely sober without any substances during those days. It's all about having the right mindset when it comes to substance use.

There is no going back! For most of us who identify as addicts, moderation doesn’t work. If we leave the door open to crack, we will keep pushing it wide open. Best to close and lock that damn door and throw away the key! True freedom is in the utter acceptance that we can’t moderate. It is what it is!

Started smoking daily a good year ago and realized that weed is slowly killing me. Usually smoked about 0.5 to 2 grams per day, depends on if I smoked alone or with someone else. Feeling unmotivated, not well rested and I pretty much did nothing with my life since I started smoking. Took a bunch of tolerance breaks but never really tried to quit. Anxiety started developing while I was high about 3 months ago. For the past month or two I really taught about quitting and tried but always relapsed. Today is my 5th day sober from weed AGAIN and I hope that I will be able to quit this shit fkin addiction soon. My mindset really changed and I'm happy that I'm going through this. I've learned a lot from this addiction. I have physical withdrawal symptoms which I feel in my stomach (probably due to loss of appetite) but it's not that bad as the mental symptoms like mood swings... and the cravings that come at really random moments... good luck everyone

Bro I quit smoking weed and alcohol at the same time. Andrew Tate taught me mind control. You use your hands to smoke weed and drink alcohol. And your hands are controlled by your brain. There is not much you can control in this life you can't control the weather you can't control your health you might get a heart attack you can't control other people you can't control anything. The only thing you can actually control is your mind. You can be thinking of red and change it to green instantly. If you can't control your brain then you are fucked. I encourage people to look up Andrew Tate mind control and drugs. He literally brought me closer to God I work out daily I'm discipline I work hard I'm honest firm hand shake and I never snake anyone.

What’s tough for me is that before weed I was worse mentally. Sober me in the past is worse than sober me present with weed. When I stop smoking, i don’t know if the withdrawal symptoms are the weed or am I just always like this like in the past with undiagnosed cptsd (severe depression and anxiety). Any insight or advise? I don’t smoke much each day, only half a finger pinch of stuff from my grinder. And even my friends say I smoke the least weed out of everyone they know.
