Week 14 More Embossing Folder Experiments! (and a cute pizza box)

Welcome to Week 14 of 2024 where I create a craft project or simply a craft-related video. This week I'm experimenting with embossing folders, trying out some new techniques on different surfaces and mixing in the mini pancake maker to emboss some things. In the end, we create this bright and cheerful pizza box!

My first love in paper crafting was embossing folders. Love the trick with rubbing the black ink pad on the debossed side.

I love the technique with the black ink. I use a brayer and find it less scary to use! Your colouring was gorgeous. Too bad it takes so long. Thank you for another great video!

Thanks! Wasn't that fun. I suppose to cut down on the coloring time, you could just do the embossing on a bright colored cardstock, then swipe the black. Just one color, but that could be pretty too.

Love the technique with the embossing folder and swiping the background to make the flowers pop. I happen to see a video on it a few weeks ago and tried a piece of cardstock then with an older non 3D EF and it was super cool but I would prefer a floral design more like yours so another item for the growing wish list…😂. I love how yours came out, so pretty! Just got some more of your latest release today…love it all! Thanks for the great video and I’m anxious to see how the heavier vellum works too.

Great video. Sound was still good even without your mic. I had the same issue on the Teflon sheets. Back to the parchment paper for embossing powder for me too. Just used your link and ordered the collection. As expected I had to have it all. LOL Can't wait to get it!!

That was interesting! I wondered whether a damp thin piece of felted cloth like Chux laid over the card would impart enough dampness to help stop cracking? I will have to try it. I also think maybe not try a smaller thing to wax the embossing, try a flat large piece of board that is wiped with wax because they would stop it from going into the lower areas.
