Running back Anthony Parker ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns as the host Memphis Showboats walloped the Orlando Renegades 41-17 in a United States Football League game.
Tim Spencer added another 110 yards rushing for the Showboats.
As promised, Showboat Coach Pepper Rodgers used both veteran Mike Kelley and second-year pro Walter Lewis at quarterback, and both produced 4-yard touchdown runs. Kelley also threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to flanker Greg Moser, and kicker Alan Duncan kicked field goals of 21 and 41 yards.
The victory gave the Showboats a 9-7 record. The Renegades dropped to 4-12. Friday's win avenged a 28-17 loss to the Renegades earlier this season.
Rodgers announced early that week that he would use both his quarterbacks in an effort to shake the club out of a two-game losing streak.
