I have had sleep issues in the past but realized that since starting 2.5mg 3 weeks ago that I’m waking up at 2 or 3 pm and can’t get back to sleep. Dream also vivid, too. Glad I’m not alone! But it’s interesting what you said about falling back into the same dream - that happens with me too since starting med.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea when I wasn't overweight...130lbs...now I have gained weight to the point BMI says I am obese. I use my BI- PAP every night and cannot sleep without it.

again, sleep apnea and Obstructive sleep apnea are not the same thing.

Yes, I am having vivid dreams and waking up every 1-2 hours. I am mostly able to go back to sleep now but the first two weeks I was awake from about 2 am. I think that is what has my slow weight loss.

poor sleep quality will always affect weightloss... stress levels, energy ...everything

That’s exactly what I experienced. Week three insomnia hit me like a brick. I fall asleep but cannot stay asleep. It’s so frustrating. And the next day is miserable as I have zero energy.

yes I think mine started week 3 into week 4. and has stayed. which us likely also why me trying to work out is suffering bc I'm exhausted 😩

@@KetosisMom I’m concerned my physician will take me off the drug as a result. I don’t want to stop but I do want to sleep.

@cindyr8263 whatever level you're on you may have to stay on it longer than 4 weeks to see if your body adjusts or not. But if you really are not sleeping at all, it is possible

I've suffered from insomnia for years and tirzepatide definitely has made it worse unfortunately. Luckily that's my only side effect so far, but it stinks. I've always had vivid dreams so that hasn't changed. Just a warning if anyone decides to try melatonin to help with sleep, that also can make dreams more vivid (it gives me terrible nightmares), so be aware of this if you try it and your dreams get even more vivid.

Mine aren’t vivid their just regular dreams but it’s every single time I sleep I’ll have a dream never dreamed so much before ??

I'm the same. I may have dreamed 2x a week before? but now it every time I sleep even naps

I'm happy with it. Considering I worked 2+ years trying everything I could from Keto Carnivore and even Vegan to try and combat my autoimmune treatment weight gain and failing. Nothing I could do could make the needle move backwards it just kept going forward.

Not all people who use a CPAP is over weight! I am within weight for my height and I use a cpap! The reason is Becuz I have a narrow neck annnnnd I have sinus issues due to allergies, so my issue is structual. Just wanted to correct that misinformation ❤️Good luck on your weight loss journey. FYI: I’m watching your info Becuz my husband is starting this next week and I love your perspective ❤

CPAP does not = OSA obstructive sleep apnea is not the same as just sleep apnea. so this was not "misinformation"

So what is the difference between sleep apnea & obstructive sleep apnea? Are they both treated with CPAP or what are the different treatments for each?

I dream a huge amount anyway but last night was very odd. I remember so many of my dreams. I 'woke up' in my dream and asked people around me if they had lucid dreams and could control their dreams. They all said 'yes' and I felt frustrated that I couldn't do it 😆. Also, trying to give a swimming lesson in a mine cart to 20 people at one time was something I didn't think I could imagine in my wildest dream but apparently thats not the case!

I’ve been hasty same issue with vivid dreams. I didn’t think it’d be caused by rheumatoid arthritis medication 😮

Have you thrown up from this? Nausea? Advice on how you deal with it?

I have not thrown up. I have woken up first thing in the morning thinking I was going to, but did not. Personally I drink cold water and try to eat something small to make it "go away". I also have some suckers I use on my Amazon Influencer storefront tagged in an idea list that work for me. They're for travel sickness with kids and the brand also makes a mother's morning sickness ones that have worked for me. I'll show them in next week's video and cover nausea and more ways to handle this. I have found it I don't eat anything sugary or fried etc I have no problems. I focus on protein but I have also been getting reflux. I have seen some people say taking a Rolaid type medicine before bed can help settle everything as well

I am a weekly and a little irritated they want daily or every other day. It just annoys me. Menstrual week yes I could see asking for this bc my weight can flux by 5+ lbs that week
