Another Disneyphile! I have a lifetime history of Disney here in Orlando (my mom was a Cast Member for 42 years). After being immobile for 20+ years, my goal is to walk the Princess 5K Marathon in February 2025. You kicked butt with those steps, girl! Fantastic! Yes, the shortage is real. I've been on Mounjaro x 7 months, from 12.5 (2 months) to 15mg (2 months) 12.5 because no 15mg availability (1 month). Now there is NO Mounjaro to be found here in Orlando, so was switched to Ozempic. It is _nothing_ like Mounjaro and I feel like I am on a placebo. I'm waiting for my compounded tirzepatide (from a nationally known compounding pharmacy) so I can get back on track. I have already lost 205 lbs in 2 years and seem to be either done losing or on a _really_ long stall. I'm not worried even though I weigh 200 lbs at 5'1". Again, I am able to move out of bed and not use scooters or my walker or cane. I walk miles a day now. My life is 180 degrees different and I am thrilled with my changes. You have a good head on your shoulder... I subscribed to see where you go with your changes. Keep going!

@HealthAtAnyCost I used to be in FL, was just in GA and searched there and live in KY. no where has zepbound. It appears after researching this week lilly is spending more time in courtroom lawsuits with compounding facilities that worried about increasing their own supply lol. I am out and no sight of getting it back in. my local pharmacy put it on order for me and left it but I asked ww Clinic to just send my order to lilly direct to see how long it takes. I was quoted 10 to 20 days JUST to get insurance 411 right now not the actual meds. I look to likely gain everything back I had lost. I was very strict with eating before and even then I still gained like crazy on the cosentyx so I'm not too hopeful right now 🙃 😅 😒 I don't know any other drug that the FDA would let this happen and not be sanctioning and fining the company for shortages or giving warning letters. Whoever is over planning at that facility needs to be fired

I've also heard ozempic and wegovy after zepbound is nothing like it so I don't want to even attempt it lol and the compounds I have been looking up all week and seeing a lot of them they're selling to ppl have impurities or are just sugar water and vitamins ... a LOT they are adding B vitamins to and I am allergic to B vitamins 😩😩😩 I break out in under the skin hives all iver my body and giant cyst acne across my entire head and scalp

p.s. I have always wanted to do the marathons. And you should be proud that you're where you are at. I don't know why my app did not show me your full comment only the last bit until I opened it on the web! My ultimate goal IS mobility. Since being pregnant and that supposedly is when my AS became "active" I had pounding joints all iver my entire body and I could not function. I would get stuck in parking lots and stores with my hip feeling like it was locked in place. trying to move was extremely painful. I was trying to work out in small movements just to move in general with physical therapy. now on cosentyx I can do full workouts, I can walk and run around at Disney, I can sleep without my joint pounding and keeping me awake...BUT every injection I gain 10+ lbs. So at some point I'll be immobile due to weight gain all over again without so I am upset that I feel like I found something that works, and then now it's not available. I've got to get out of my funk though. I think all my research the past week and half has got me down haha

@@KetosisMom I would highly encourage you to consider a tide-over like Saxenda, Trulicity (which is mildly unavailable), or Victoza. Your doc will have to write off-label Rx's, but it might be one solution until things get straightened out.

@@KetosisMom If you do compound with someone, all you have to do is tell them you are allergic to B vitamins and they will leave it out. There are reputable compounding pharmacies. I use HenryMeds. They are well-known and have amazing service. I hope that helps.

I am about to find out! I have seen on the FB groups and Reddit forums that a lot of people are searching for their mg level they are on. Some are going up/down just to be able to obtain it right now. When I searched last night there are multiple news outlets currently quoting that it is. I just submitted for my refill via the WW Clinic app but have not heard anything from them or CVS locally yet in regards to it being called in/out etc

I am so happy I found your videos!! They’re so helpful!! I just did my first injection yesterday. Also, I believe Disney parks have water bottle refill stations! I know Disneyland does. You could take your own water bottle and the refills are endless!! 🫶🏼✨💕

I know. I saw them and told my husband instead of bringing the girls water bottles I should have brought my OWN. I remember we tried getting different stands to give us ice 1 year we went for the girls milk to stay cold in our baby bags though and we could rarely get anyone to give us ice. So I spent a small fortune on water and could have just brought an empty cup in with me. the lines were really long at those stations when we passed each one though. It was SO hot! I was sweating and told him ok... I've got to take in a ton of water bc if I don't I'm going to dehydrate - FAST! LOL I wanted to go stand on the splash pad areas with the kids and just say leave me here for awhile.then we get home and it's SO cold I need a winter jacket again. I think my body is in shock lol

Disney World also will give you a glass of water with ice for free at any fast food location. Hope that helps!
