yes thank you so much, i like the creator but why in the world is slovakia a soft ally to russia, most slovaks (the youth 0-30) support ukraine, and robert fico only said that all the money and aid slovakia sents to ukraine should be focused more slovakia well being and advancements. Which yes doesn't sound great for ukraine, but slovakia is not actively supporting russia like orban and hungary government is. Not only that but besides robert fico remarks, slovakia has only block grain shipments from ukraine to save slovakia farmers, which romania hungary and poland also did, also remember poland's remarks of a drowning man (ukraine) is going to drown everyone with them, also poland had many other issues with ukranine over shipments, funding, migrants, which should make poland at least a weak ally to ukraine. As too Slovakia or at least neutral, as hungary should be a weak or moderate ally to russia.

Same in reverse for Ukrainian casualties.

The fact of the matter is that the advances both sides were able to make wouldn't even have been worth mentioning in World War 1 as even there there was more movement and more ground changing its controller. It's an absolute stalemate and at the moment nobody is able to achieve any strategic victory. 2 kilometres is nothing especially if you consider the casualties that small distance took. In the end it is only about numbers except in case one of the sides decides to do something drastic or "new". It seems as if at the moment Russia has the upper hand but in this kind of warfare they have to be at a great advantage to actually break through. All the people commenting and reporting on the war forgot what the word "breakthrough" even means. If a front moves by 2 kilometres within 2 weeks that is not a breakthrough. Thats a failed offensive. All in all the whole war is just a bunch of failed offensives by both sides. At some point though losses will be very high on both sides. One side could falter and an actual breakthrough occur. It unfortunately is not unrealistic that this war could last for the whole decade. If the west keeps supporting Ukraine the way it does that could very well be the case as long as nobody does something "new".

We have a chance here to spend around 5% of our military budget to take out 50% of their military equipment without risking American lives, in a war they started.
