Hellloooo! My name is Clancy and I'm originally from Long Island, NY, whch is about 40 minutes from NYC. In 2017, I moved to Ohio to become a TV news reporter, but after waking up at 2 a.m. for 5 years, I decided to leave that job and pursue KZfaq full-time.
I recently bought a house in Cincinnati and love making all kinds of videos, focusing on everything from money and finances (saving, budgeting, and being financally independent in your 20's) to health, fitness, and nutrition, to beauty and fashion.

I don't know if you did this on purpose, but today (Jan 27) is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Thanks for taking a few minutes in your video to chat about the Holocaust museum and the importance of not only commemorating the victims (hundreds of thousands of which are still alive today), but also understanding the events that led to the Holocaust and reflecting on antisemitism that still very much exists today. That's especially important in the US, which hosts one of the largest Jewish communities in the world. Love your vlogs as always. 🥰

So excited for you to become doggy parents! We just celebrated my rescue dog's third gotcha day! I remember before I adopted him, seeing his picture online for the first time and just saying to my husband, "Yup. Thats MY dog!" It's just this feeling you get and you KNOW that's your fur baby💕 I can't wait to see your puppy!!!!

You will not regret your decision to get a puppy one bit! It is so nice having that kind of responsibility with your significant other and brought my husband and I closer before we even got engaged. It’s also the closest thing to having a baby so it’s a great test!

I loved how you refer to him as your son because he will be your son! I just lost our fur son Oswald at 15 years old 😢. But now have a human 1 year old son. I miss Oz so much he really was a member of our family! The most heartbreaking thing is my son is 15 months old and if he sees a picture of him he cries😢. He never left my baby's side since the day we brought him home, I miss him so much. I can't wait to meet your son!!!❤

When I moved to Florida 33 years ago the first 2 years was a blast. I was very lucky my immediate family all lived down here too so that helped. I still say Michigan is my home though even though I have lived here longer. Met my hubby here too in Florida. GO LIONS !!!

I actually like the way Zack put it about having a 50/50 list of pros and cons. Every time I've tried to use the t chart method for decisions of listing pros and cons I always think to myself well I cannot make a decision until I have NO cons on the list and in reality, that doesn't happen most of the time. I don't know why but that really stuck with me so thanks for the new perspective! Sometimes you just have to go with the decision with all the information you have at the present moment and just know that life is changeable! No regrets, I agree!

Congrats on your new baby! I highly recommend getting pet insurance as soon as possible, it’s saved me so much money! And if you get it when they’re little it covers everything, since preexisting conditions can often be exempt from coverage. Can’t wait to see him!

I must say your editing skills have definitely improved. LOVED this style of video, and including the little blooper was hilarious. my family only had 2 purebred dogs growing up, and the rest have been mutts from the shelter. california has plenty of no kill shelters, don't know about other states. I was sad to hear the pups might have been euthanized if they didn't find homes, but you will be such a good dog mom! walter will finally have a cousin.

I live in St. Pete and while the novelty definitely does wear off and eventually it just feels like small town living… it’s just so damn pretty with such a beautiful coast that if you ever do decide to move here one day down the line, I think you’d love it!

Welcome back to the Tampa Bay Area, Clancy! I’ve been going through the same thing that you are about thinking you wanted to move to St. Petersburg. Last couple of years I’ve been kind of obsessed about moving to the north Georgia mountains when I retire, but it’s like you say, I’ve only been up there on vacation. I’m not sure what it would be like to live there 365 days, especially in January! I’ve lived in Tampa, all my life and I’m not necessarily a beach person. I enjoy it once in a blue moon! I’d love to get the name of the Airbnb that you stayed at in Pass-a-Grille. Pass-a-Grill has so much character! I wasn’t sure if you were aware, but there is a crosstown ferry that goes back-and-forth between Saint Pete and Tampa. We tried it out last year in November and we had a blast! It’s pretty reasonable price wise and you get to explore whatever side of the bay you’re going to.😁 I can’t wait to see your new puppy!🐾❤️

Hi Clancy, I was the one who wrote the book on the original puppy video. I noticed you mentioned on the last video that since the dogs are rescues, you don't know the breed. There are dog DNA tests and it will have percentages for all breeds in your dog. It will help you to determine traits, health issues and training, etc. You will already have the puppy by then but it will help you to understand your dog better.

my parents live in Stuart, FL (which is about 30 min north of West Palm) and my hubby and I have been looking for condos in the area. You should check out Deerfield Beach - it was one of our favorite downtowns and it is about 30 minutes south of West Palm, so you would be near your friend.

It is a beautiful place but I could never tolerate the heat and humidity in the warm/hot months! Also not being an insect/bug lover, I will have to be a hard pass! We lived in CA for the last 5 years and LOVED it so very much! Super expensive, you pay for the sunshine and if you would like to buy a home, you need at least a million dollars! The CA vibe is right up my alley! Unfortunately tho, our kids/grandkids are still in WI and we missed them tremendously! Now we are back in WI and even tho I was born and raised here, this winter weather SUCKS ( as you know)! I am about to jump off the roof! Turns out, once you experience paradise, and have to go back to less, it’s tough sledding! Being reunited with family is lovely though! CANNOT WAIT TO SEE PUPPY! I don’t think humans were meant to exist without fur babies! ❤
