Hi queen, I’m pursing my bachelors in public health and going to continue trying to to get my masters in nursing/apply to community colleges and csu to continue my goal of becoming a nurse. I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost 4 1/2 years and I love him dearly, we do not live together and are high school sweethearts, he actually just got into a csu nursing program and I guess I’m just seeking advice from someone that has gone through the program themself who has been in a relationship throughout the entirety of your journey, what advice would you recommend me with trying to be a supportive partner in his current nursing journey all the while not overthinking and feeling stressed for what’s to come? I know I love him with my whole heart and I know he does too and has been nothing but loving, supportive and loyal in our relationship but I guess I’m just scared I might mess it up bc I might also feel a bit overwhelmed with the amount of things that are going to start changing this January when he starts. It would make it a lot easier if we lived together because atleast we could recap at night but his family are very strict and we are already pretty busy with our schedule as I’m in school for my bachelors in public health and he is doing a full time job atm. I know things are bound to change and that’s okay but I guess how can I do my best to not let it affect us and our relationship especially with everyone in his classes majority being females which is okay but I can’t help but just feel a bit insecure, again it’s not because of him like truly he is the most loving most amazing man who we have both talked about our future marriage, our goals with each other etc… it’s really just me to be honest and I don’t want to add any stress onto him nor our relationship yk? I’ve been binge watching your videos because it gives me hope if you and your husband can do it as a nurse (congratulations btw so so happy for you!!:)) then it just gives me a bit more piece of mind that so can we as well. I hope you get to read this but if you can’t I understand, however if you do I’m so happy for you with your career and marriage it truly is so beautiful and inspiring to get accomplish everything you and your husband have! I know his nursing journey with be difficult and I’m trying to better understand what and how I can be there for him when he has a bad day at simulation for example and clinicals, sorry this is a big rant but I’m just truly seeking a older sister advice and I’d really appreciate you if you could help a girl out❤
