Not sure if I got the right of the stick here so bare with me, when the trusses sit on the internal leaf(pan)and fly over the external leaf you can just beam fill the space between each rafter, where the rafter potentially hits the out leaf just cut what ever size block or brick common to fill beneath the rafter. Hope that makes some sort of sense Mark.
