Che is even funnier here when he's not reading off of cue cards (at least, I assume this is less scripted than on the usual show). He has such great comedic timing.

@@jo_darel Hillary and a bunch of big names politicians get paid to do speeches in big firms like a few hundred thousand bucks for a little speech for company board members or private conferences. Our friend barry obama got 400k from wall street bankers, Hill charged minimum 225k and literally did a speech tour with Goldman Sachs after she stepped down from SoS, the other clinton got 600k from Ericsson, etc. But we all know that whole "speech" thing is BS, it's how the big corps 'legally' (LOL) lobby the politicians. Anyway, it's a joke about how Hillary will not be paid this time because it's the DNC event and she's not directly getting paid to do this LOL smart joke + don't boo, vote (one of Obama's voting slogans) was also smart

@@jo_darel there was a controversy around Hilary and Bill for getting paid millions of dollars for giving random speeches. It’s controversial because we shouldn’t have our politicians taking copious amounts of money to potentially change their views on certain policies because of a specific donor paying them enough.

No, Shawn, if you DO vote for trump you would vote for idiot. Seriously, every other candidate in the race who's polling as much as 1% support is better than Trump. Clinton, Johnson, Stein... all better options. There's room for argument as to which of those three is the best option, but they're clearly all better than Trump.

I love how you can tell that Colin doesn’t go outside and see the sun too often. When weekend update went to the national conventions Colin looked like a sun tanned ken doll, and even now he looks unusually tan.

Bernie would have lost handily. Many moderate democrats and virtually all independents would have voted for Trump. Especially then, when Trump was just a buffoon rather than a menace, socialism constituted a much for serious threat to America.

Quarantine binging SNL this week and Che's comments on the Bernie girls made me laugh more than I have in a month. No one is better at making fun of white girls like me. He makes it feel like a gentle slap in the face followed by a reluctant pity hug with his face turned away. Far away. "You get to keep your tacos." Thank you, Che. You're awesome.

Historian here - technically, they did hire slaves, not in the sense that they gave them jobs, but they hired them through masters as contractors for skilled labor (i.e. a hired car, or a hired bull).
