I am old enough to remember benefiting directly from her efforts. I could not get a credit card or a loan without a man to sign for me (husband or father). This had a very detrimental effect on my entire life. I am so happy that women today don't face the same problems.

@@markmh835definitely did, women didn't get the right to vote until 75yrs after the end of the civil war and black womenvofficially until 1965 Voting Rights Act. Black women brought their platform to the Suffragettes(white women)and they were rejected and not able to team up or join forces with the Suffragettes.

IMO, she was here for a reason and a season. Could she have made better personal choices in her lifetime as you alluded to? Sure. WE all can and should. Also, look, I'm a 25 year military veteran who has been in the medical field for over 35 years as well as an RN. I know with an exceptionally acute regard the state of our healthcare system. I...can cover that. At the end of the day, I came to the SNL video for a much needed laugh from a long COVID19 day. So this will be the end of my debate and replies to you. Stay Safe, Be Well.
