Again terrific progress on your adventure. Also great advice on not needing to buy anything extra. Everyone’s different and some people may have a specific need like you mentioned and they could just run to their local grocery store and pick up something to satisfy that need. By the way, the secondary benefits from these medication’s beyond merely weight loss, are growing in number and are quite powerful in a very positive way.

I'm the same, I am type II Diabetic down 91 pounds and I'm at 146 and would like to get down to 140 for some wiggle room. I'm 56 years old and I don't want to go any lower. Love your channel❤

I started on compounded semaglutide then insurance started approving ozempic. But because of that I have been for extended time at 0.25mg and now 0..5mg. The appetite suppression has stopped for the past 3 weeks and the food noise is loud and crazy. I am thinking of going to compounded tirzepatide hoping for results again. I am going to call my APRN tomorrow to discuss it. Love y’all’s channel always glad to see when a new video is up.

Love the conversation and that you tried yoga again. I started at my heaviest 255 and it was difficult to do many of the movements, but it helped my flexibility so much and I have a great teacher who works with all body types to try alternatives that work, even sitting in a chair. Now I’m down 55 pounds and I am not struggling with most of the classes. 3 times a week since December and I am so pleased with my mobility in every day life. I think the key is find the activity you like and be consistent with it. Walking and weights are in my routine also.

That’s awesome! Isn’t it amazing how much easier it is with less weight on your body??? I’ve always looked at exercise as something I had to do to lose weight. I’m trying to see it now as a way to feel better and build muscle.

Gosh Laraine! I feel the same, keep changing my weight because of the same reasons as you.. I am currently at 134 and tell myself “just 2 more pounds” just to be safe😂

Thanks! Yes I was a big Fitbit fan when those first came out- I would walk in circles around the house and do challenges with friends to get my 10k steps in ! I still look at my steps on my apple Watch, and I like the fitness part too!

My spine has compacted also as a 62 year old woman I used to be 5’5” now I’m 5’4”. So that changes my target weight range.

Side effects are not fun but you know it’s working! I’m on 12.5 but stalled …. Any tips? Maybe make a video on hacks for stalls.❤

Go eat a cheeseburger. Seriously! Or something higher calorie that you don't usually eat. Your body gets really good at burning off stuff you normally eat. And if it thinks it's starving, it won't release fat. So time to shake things up for a day or 2 and see if that works.

Finding your true body mass,fat may help your choice in goal weight. I recently came by a DEXA scan showing bone density, lean muscle,concentration of fat in all areas. Something for you to think about.

I’m down 27# since starting Zepbound. I’m averaging 2-2.5# per week. I did start with Mochi with the knowledge that my insurance covers Zepbound but getting an appt with my PCP took a few weeks and I wanted to get started ASAP.

Nothing wrong with that! Plus if you can get your RX filled for Zep due to shortages you could always do the compounded until you find the Zep in stock. It's a great backup! Congrats on the weight loss BTW!

Hi! I have been taking Vital Proteins Collegen Peptides Powder, I went to your website store and didn't realize that the Vital Proteins came with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C. Purchased through your website! Also, I love the Ninja Ice-cream recipe book. It's great that the recipes are made with cottage cheese. I made peach and blueberry. Loraine, have you made any of them? I know how you don't care for cottage cheese. 😊

I love how you remembered that about me! I don't use cottage cheese - I usually do my Ninja Cremis with 1.5 c Fairlife milk, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 Tablespoon Jello Sugar Free chocolate pudding mix. That gives me around 40g of protein. We've also done vanilla versions with chocolate chips added at the end. Sometime we add Greek yogurt. Christopher and our girls love to make up their own recipes.

Hi John ! I think I just answered this with you on the Live show--but yes I have had some food noise come back , especially on days 5&6 after the shot. I realize now that I’m not alone in this, and that obesity is a disease that I will have to battle for the rest of my life. 😝

Thank you. So noise has been more on maintenance level dossage vs your previous high of 12.5? Maybe a rhetorical question. Just trying to understand what to expect as I move into the maintenance period specifically at lower doses. Love what you guys have been doing. I I have been following since the start.

I’m at the lowest dose 3rd week haven’t had much movement on scale. I know I’m not overeating but can’t work out much nursing knee injury. Hard to stay motivated when you see people have huge loses?

The lowest dose of tirzepatide = 2.5 mg. This is the LOADING dose - some people lose nothing the first month. Of course there's always a few that stay on 2.5 the whole time. Go up to 5.0 after your 4th shot of 2.5 and in the mean time track your protein, drink water, and eat some vegetables. Take a multivitamin maybe. You don't have to work out to lose weight if you focus on the food.

wegovy - same story - lowest dose is loading dose. If you can switch to Mounjaro or Zepbound it might work better, ask your Dr.

Just an FYI about Mochi Health, I applied and had a video conference only to find out that they will not do medicare patients. I mentioned this was not on their website but... I don't know why since there is no insurance coverage involved. I have a natureopath for my hypothyroidism and she is going to help me get started.

@@lornaelder1702 THEN I suggest you check out Join Friday's. They do compounded and branded medication. They also have a nutritionist who does group calls a couple times week. The monthly cost is $99 and the medication cost goes up as the dose goes up. Overall costs are about the same as Mochi. Good luck.

I lost 15.6 lbs on zepbound in the first mos on 2.5 I switched to mochi and am currently in the middle of week 2 and haven’t lost anything. I also have food noise and no appetite suppression. I’m also following WW and I’m within my point and calorie range. Any ideas why 5 is not working?

You had an amazing loss week 1 - I'd say your body is trying to adjust and is fighting back. Hang on and move up to 7.5 after your 4th 5.0mg shot. Make sure you are hitting your protein goal - switch your WW app to the GLP-1 side (you can always switch back) and see you protein target. Throw the points out the window - you don't need to count those anymore, just count protein.

Hi. I lost 16 pounds my first month. Then I lost 10 pounds total over the next 3.5 months. I will enter my 5th month next week. I have lost inches and my blood pressure went down. I went up a dose every month with tirzeptitide.
