Backdrops make's a world of difference. Bring it to life! I think if you continue your backdrops all the way around the staging yard would look great in my opinion.

wow, how much difference abit of scenery makes, even if its not perfect its looking pretty good to me, well done, don't get so piccky on yourself your doing a great job in such a large layout. love your updates.

Love the new scenery. Love the weekly updates. Happy to hear weathering will be on the horizon. While using an airbrush definitely opened up my weathering skills, don’t be so quick to add pan pastels and oils in your weathering materials

Good work Daryl Phase 3 is complete now for the final phase. Ballasting, Paving, Detailing, and finally Painting. Morgan is almost complete and soon for the month of April we will go to the next stretch of track above it Aspen Tunnel to Granger through Carter and Leroy can't wait to see how that develops then May it is back to the lower level Morgan to Taggart and Taggart to Devils Slide and Croydon. June it will be Granger to Westvaco which is already complete and July if you stay on schedule the layout will be complete Croydon to Echo and Echo up Echo Pass to Emery and Castle Rock which was the first section done.

I like the Google backdrops, that is my plan as I live 5,000 miles from the area I model.

I admire the Morgan area. Yes, I don't know of a neat way to handle the plaster gauze! My areas are much more limited than yours, so O use a boxtop from Walthers' structure kits and a cheap pair of scissors (so I don't mind ruining them!). The boxtop helps catch some of the loose plaster off the gauze. Daryl, did you see that Broadway Ltd will be producing a UPP 119 "Kenefick" business car? There will be different drumheads produced for different trains. By the way, the semi across the road joint was inspired!
