Well done Nicky ❤ Nettle tea and a spoonful of local honey is great for hayfever. Not an instant cure but I drank nettle tea for a year and the next year no or very little symptoms. Loads of articles online about it. Xxx

You did great! You know that just bc you eat out doesn’t mean you made a bad choice. Kebabs meat and veg? Chips not great but every now and then not terrible. Why not find fakeaway ideas that are lower calorie? That way it is an on plan cheatish. I am proud of you!! Everytime you choose to make healthy meals for you an Mark you both win, so if every now and then you have a takeaway or eat out enjoy it and don’t beat yourself out. Remember you are developing a lifestyle and this is not a diet.

Awww well done Nicky that’s amazing. As you know I’m doing SW, however, I’m going to try CC, see what I think of it. I find trying to maintain my target weight is so hard, I find that I have to stick to the normal plan not to have a gain. I can’t live my life like this I need some variety. If I do gain on CC I just need to change what I eat. I know that I can’t eat cakes and sweets because I don’t have a stop button. I’ll let you know how it’s going, I may be messaging you on FB if I’m stuck. You’re doing fab though and be proud of yourself because I’m very proud of you. Have a good week love xxx 😘

If you start fresh this week and make sure you drink lots of water, try and have 150 grams of protein a day ( some people have 1 gram of protein per lb of weight, but that might be too much, so start at aiming for 150grams a day) and 35 grams of fibre a day. It'll keep you full and protect your muscle mass as you lose body fat. Keep going.💪 Have a lovely sunny week. ❤

@nickyinavlog home bargains have some of those flavoured 25g protein yoghurt pouches for 89p. They're good to help you get to your target. There's a round 30g of protein in a chicken breast. Turkey mince is good, too. Tuna. And if you're struggling to reach your goal, then you can use those protein shakes at home bargains, too. USN ones. Banana one is nice but they have lots of flavours. They're 40g of protein per bottle. Keep them in the fridge. 🥰

Hey Nicky, I’ve had a stressful and busy week so played catch up with your vlogs, didn’t want to leave this one without a comment. Given that you haven’t been on plan maintaining is good, hopefully have a good couple of weeks and you can drop a bit more. I’m a bit confused how you manage to get so many exercise calories? If I go for a walk and have around 7k steps then all I get are the 200 that NC expect us to earn. Anyway, I’m so pleased you are proud of yourself, this whole weight loss malarkey is a tricky journey so we should recognise our progress so far. X

My hayfever is awful - so many tablets and eye drops. Makes you feel awful doesn’t it. Perhaps look at your steps as an average over the week? You are doing so well, I try to track it all even if I go over and then look at the week with and without exercise calories to see how it balances out over the week. Keep going lovely. You are the most determined I have seen you for a long time since you have been on calories xxx

Hi Nicky. Well done. At least you're maintaining. May I suggest....you can still e.g. enjoy kebab take out with the family. Just eat the kebab but make a simple side salad at home to have with it. Forego the rice and bread. Best of both worlds, lol🤷‍♀️ Keep up the good work. Heatwave here in Ontario, Canada. Was 42 C here last week🥵. This week low 30s. 92 to 108 approximately F.

Well Nicky you've done really well to stay the same...I thought that 2,000 calories a day is for women who are not on diets (2,500)for men...I think if you lowered your calorie intake u would see a difference ...do you ever look at the fat in foods?.. ❤

Thanks Angela , I will be lowering my calories soon, just want to make sure I stick to these first …. I do look at macros sometimes but I want to make sure I’m getting enough fats etc ….

@@nickyinavlogyes, please do your research and protect your metabolism. Drastic calorie restriction is a short-term solution and can result in binge eating. I think slow and steady is the best option for permanent weight loss x

Was just thinking that 2,000 calories a day for women is the norm and not a diet..nickys kind of plateaued ...I didn't mean drastically reducing...100 cals is acceptable...a day ...probably make a difference for nicky...I feel bad she's struggling but there's lots to do to help her ...that she could try...

@@ladymeringue9870 I’m not gonna drastically change calories like Angela said maybe 100cals down when I feel comfortable but I need to get back into healthy eating first and I don’t really want to loose more than 1/2 lbs a week so I can keep it off !! Thanks
