The kingdom of Kush (ancient Nubia) provides an amazing attestation of female power. Dr. Solange Ashby, UCLA, discusses a series of sole-ruling queens (one of whom led her army in battle against the invading Romans) who ruled ancient Nubia in the first century BCE and first century CE.
Temple images, funerary chapels, and stone sculptures depict these ruling queens, often in the company of the gods (Egyptian: Isis and Horus, Meroitic: Apedemak and Amesemi). Texts written in the Egyptian and Meroitic scripts accompany scenes in temples and tombs. Golden jewelry and exquisite funerary offerings demonstrate the wealth and power of Meroitic queens during a time when Ptolemaic Greeks and then Romans ruled Egypt.

When I was growing up I believed things hollywood showed me. Believe what I was told about Egypt. Then I grew up and started to visit the library more and read up Egypt. Found out it’s not even called that. It’s called Kemet and I fully understand everything about that place now. Thanks. But no thanks.

Egypt was called Kemet , just as Iran was called Persia, Scotland was called Caledonia, etc . That means nothing. Modern day Egyptians are descendants of ancient Egyptians. This is a fact .

So how would you know that when you were not here? It was the Babylonians Chaldeans who destroyed Egypt and placed them in Pathros till this day. Your history started 500 years ago. So before that you do not know and cannot comment. The old testament belongs to Africa and was found in Africa Israel. I can give you scriptures to back up my claim. Read Ezekiel 29 and 30.

@@mikegreen8938 when you don't like the truth you attack my writing. I don't struggle to do anything. Blame AI for changing my words when I write. Plus I don't have time to proof read depending on where I am while I was writing my comments. All I am saying is that the Egyptians were Mitzrahim seeds and Mitzrahim was the second son of Ham. All the Egyptians are part of the Israelites and are in Pathros. Just like all Canaanites are in Hamath Palestine today and are part of the Israelites race. Just like all the Chaldeans are in Shinar Babylon today and are of Israel race. Here is your proof. Isaiah 11:11-12

@@doreenramsey1016 Well, “ Africa” is a continent not a race or a culture! Black Africans are NOT part of North Africa and Middle East. That belong to North Africans and Middle Eastern people who are racially closer to other west Eurasians . They were part of Mediterranean civilizations and societies. Black Africans were NEVER native population anywhere outside of subsaharan Africa.

Well scriptures say absolutely nothing about black Africans bc black Africans were NEVER native population anywhere outside of subsaharan Africa. Secondly, I am from Mediterranean world so to tell me “ your history started 500 years ago “ when my culture goes back more than SIX THOUSANDS years or more is to die from irony. Remember that your ancestors in tropical Africa didn’t have a written language until 150 years ago, and you have the nerve to tell me how old my history is ! Thirdly, “ Africa “ is a continent not a race or culture. GEOGRAPHY DOES NOT EQUALS RACE NOR CULTURE. Someone from China never claims ancient Persia. It’s nonsense.
