in the past 3 houses i've lived in that had chainlink fences around the yards, they all had at least one tree fused to part of the fence. also, in the last one, we once stuck a nail into the tree to hang up a humming bird feeder, and after a few years, the nail was COMPLETELY gone, with part of the chain of the feeder even being taken in by the tree's bark! plants are SO COOL

When I was in college strangers kept calling me Chris or starting conversations out of the blue as though I'd know what they were talking about. Before he and I met, we had figured it out. She thought her sister was gross for even thinking it.

one time there was a thunderstorm and it dropped 3 inches of very wet snow in less then 5 minutes. that made me very confused till a few months later it was explained to me that this is not uncommon although the amount was large. it simply occurs when the air above is warm enough that rain forms and then the air below is cold enough to turn it into slushy blotches of snow that fall rapidly.

My "monster tree" wasn't really monstrous, I rented a place near a huge fishing pond and trees surrounded by honeysuckle and wisteria and a small rose garden where a board had been stuck between two trees growing very closely together and the trees had grown up and around so the board actually looked like part of the trees. I sat there and drank my coffee every morning and looked out at the pond while I was enveloped by the smell of honeysuckle and wisteria. I called it heaven. Holy cow that was more than 30 years ago, but I can still feel the breeze across my face as the wisteria swayed and the water was dazzled by the sun....

I have a phenomena: when I was younger about 5 every day for 3 months 3 balls of light one red one yellow and one a strange magenta hovered over my house and each night one would go a head and return about a hour ish later (I was young so I didn’t have a phone or a watch to be sure) then when the one returned they would go straight up and I assume because I never left my house to investigate went up so high I wouldn’t see them anymore and to this day I will wait to see if they return because I want to study them. years ago when i was a 10year old kid in the city of glendale, california, on a bright sunny day and completely devoid of any clouds, around 1985. At around lunch time, i was playing tether ball and out of the blue a down pour of rain fell on top of everyone in the school. At first, we thought we were simply hit by a busted sprinkler head and the water from that had felled back down onto us. but we notice across the whole school and the street itself was getting wet. we don't know what else had gotten wet being that we didn't investigated, but even the teachers who were out on the yard to watch over us were taken by surprised and dumbfounded as us by this sudden rain. As far as i know, no explanation was ever given to us and some of us had thought a passing airplane who released its liquid content might be the culprit but no planes of any kind was seen flying over and plus, the down pour lasted 4 a good minute. Making that idea not possible. And years later, at a baseball field in the hills a gust of wind so strong had blown everyone up there on the field back, forcing us to lay flat on the ground and LITERALLY pull ourselves forward to the cars. even the bend flags which we use to run drills around with soccer balls, the tips of them (which each flag is about 6 feet tall) were touching the ground. Yet the evening news that night mention NO extreme winds in the area only mentioning the calm breeze. To this day, as far as i known, we dont know WHAT happen that day or the other strange day.

I've had a phenomenon. In a sunny day, when I was just a little peanut, I was going to school with my mother. When we stopped near a tree, a hailstorm randomly happened near it. Me and my mom closed our eyes because something flied in it. Seconds later, it was literally gone just like vanishing. No idea what caused that.
