I had that gray fuel line nightmare. It sucked until I figured it out. There was a bunch of plaque in the fuel connection. After cleaning the connector out and replacing the low pressure fuel filter, she ran great.

On your fuel tank subject. Ford power stroke pick ups in the 2000s had a bad run where they were painting the inside of the tanks and the paint was coming off causing fuel problems onto your fuel line subject we had rubber brake lines, disintegrate on the inside, and create a check valve situation. I had a three cylinder, Jan Marr diesel with a shop rag inside the oil pan. And a miller welder generator with a 6 foot long silicone hose, stuffed inside the fuel tank that completely disintegrated

I also worked on a Polaris some years ago where the actual jet cone or let's just call it the tube is lined with a stainless steel and the jet propeller is in the middle will that whole fuselage swells pushes the stainless steel inward and the damn jet impeller or blade won't even spin a lot of disassembling sanding put back together ride it and it will do it again if the damn thing sits in the water no matter salt or fresh aluminum expands as a corrodes and then turns to chalk

I had a primer bulb that came apart because of the liner and I had to use some wire leaders for hose clamps after ripping the liner out while being a few miles form home

Can you discuss the boat docking troubles people have, and that they struggle with. Example would be that they don't appear to be ready to dock or how to properly do this! And then the rear of their boat swings around and strikes the boat parked at the dock beside theirs. Then they struggle with using the bow to attempt to pull the boat back to no avail! I'm watching from NC. And talk about Especially the 'center cleat ' area. Show us how and discuss options for how to dock without a center cleat. [My 1989, 19.5 foot fiberglass boat does not have center cleats, wish it did!!] Also discuss what year did vessel begin to be made with center postioned cleats. and give us suggestions on how to properly attach/install a center cleat on a fiber glass hull. Very much appreciated if you would. 👍

So ya think a “telephone pole” floating 15 miles offshore is weird? See ya hat pole and put my floating console TV floating at least 20-25 miles offshore on the table 😄. Missed it going out and then SOMEHOW had to steer around it to miss it again a day later!

How did the jb weld plastic adhesive hold up on the starboard on that ocean master?

We had a guy here last week that hit something in the water it actually tore the outboard off it flew up into the boat and hit him and critically injured him

my weird problem was fuel tank vent issue,we went to gas station 85 gal tank end up pumping 105 gal in the boat ,my went broke off and started dumping fuel into bilge when my bilge pump started dumping fuel outside than we stop pump it was at 105 gal on 85 tank big mess

If the boat was a Contender you would have had to cut the floor to get to the sender or pickup, ask me how I know.

I have a question about adding bigger outboards to boats. Lets say your sticker says 90hp max (but you know the hull will hold say a 125 and be completely fine) how can something like that be achieved? Can it be achieved? I have seen where people add these like transom balast things I suppose for that reason. More hp

Jet skis the jet drive all aluminum electrolysis minerals turmeric acid freshwater no matter saltwater aluminum swells as it corrodes and it just turns into chalk I'm dealing with the neighbor's jet ski right now the ride module that puts it in reverse and stops it that module is 2400 and they do not sell you the backing plate or individual parts the levers that move the cone and reverse cone or you call it reverse horn that ride module goes through the hole and is exposed into the water that it sits common problem on the Yamaha jet ski is that it will swell and corrode the pivot points don't pivot anymore the motors are not strong enough and the damn thing goes into limp mode that module is 2,400 not including labor and your ski will be stuck in limp mode will not back up will not stop and will not go fast it will run but the beeping and the light is annoying as hell and it will not go fast
