The full moon is out, meaning there are obviously werewolves, but it's too early for them to run into a werewolf just yet. Maybe they'll instead hear the ghost of a werewolf's mother. And it'll be the main werewolf so it's more important. Then since they've crashed they'll run into a police officer, but he has to be plot-relevant somehow. Maybe they're counselors heading to a summer camp, and the cop will be the brother of the camp leader. Since it's late at night, they're probably going up the night before they're supposed to, and the cop will know that and tell them to go somewhere else. They won't listen because he's hiding something. So they'll go up to the camp and find him. He's probably a werewolf and will attack them, but the cop will come and save them. One of them will be bitten (let's just say Max) so the cop will have to lock both of them up indefinitely. "Now, since the two counselors are early and we still have seven more main characters (probably also counselors), the rest of the story can't be tonight. Maybe it's the next full moon...or the full moon after that? Maybe it'll be on the night they're supposed to all leave but something will stop them from leaving. Probably it'll be the fault of Jacob, since he's clearly the dumbest one. Yeah Jacob was probably dating Emma, since they're both the stereotypical cool kids, but he won't get over her leaving so he'll break the van they're supposed to leave in. Since they're all teenagers, they'll probably have a party with a truth or dare game, and get separated. Maybe Nick will get bitten, since he's clearly one of the "sweetest" characters and it'll be dramatic to see him transform. He'll probably have a 'thing' with Abi since she's the other sweet character, so she gets to watch in horror as he transforms. Then Laura will escape, having found out that (since it has to be dramatic) you have to kill the werewolf that bit someone to cure them. She'll go after the camp leader, but Ryan will try to stop her (he's a loner type, so he must be close to the camp leader). They'll end up going to the camp leader's house and killing half the family. Then the cop will make them team up with him to go after the main werewolf. You can kill the werewolf or he'll kill the three of them and nobody will get cured."

to be honest the prologue of The Quarry has always been intriguing to me...speaking as someone who hasn't seen the entire game all the way through yet...so no spoilers from people please. i'm saying it now and i mean it. so i have seen the opening with Laura and Max many times and i'm pretty certain no matter what you do you always go to Hacket's Quarry...you can't avoid that...they never go to the motel. So they go off the road...they think they hit someone or something...well it certainly wasn't a pothole...i've watched it enough times to see that...but the figure wasn't big either...and it wasn't moving...it could have been an unconscious person or an animal...perhaps (i'm only guessing). The damage to the car would indicate an animal or person as well...unless you hit the tree trunk then well...that confuses the matter. however an animal would likely do more damage than a person...unless it was a small animal. a deer or bear would do a lot. the officer doubts your story unless you say you hit someone...which makes me think it likely was a person...but i'm only theorising. if i have any complaints with the opening prologue i feel it tries too hard to force you to hackets quarry and then to the basement. you can't choose the motel regardless of how you try...Laura always forces you to go to the camp. you get there and no one is there...door is locked (try basement), windows are locked (try basement), the whole main lodge is out of bounds (try basement), can't search the rest of the camp (try basement), no you can't get back in your own car with Max (try basement)...it feels so forced...at least Until Dawn's prologue with the twins made sense. it would have been better if you could choose the motel but something different happened if you went that way...like the car broke down before they got there and were attacked by something...i don't know. but then again i haven't seen the entire game...only up until Chapter 5 or 6 i think.

This game it's fully aware of its own horror cliches, and thats why the characters acted so weird.. the rest is just lazy writing.
