My wife and I are having a few days in Edinburgh in January. We are going to Dundee too, for a day trip on the train .. mainly so we can cross two of the most famous rail bridges in the UK, the Forth Bridge and the Tay Bridge. We are looking forward to our trip.. just hope it isn't too cold, or worse still .. raining

@@basictravel_1arisa306 thanks ! We had a great time and even went First Class on the train. Only £22.50 for the two of us, standard was £16, so we had a great deal .. even had lunch on the train, with wine too

Hey there university usually offers accommodation and they can arrange that for you, otherwise you can always look upon Gumtree, Zoopla or Share room, hope this is helps
