I've noticed hood folks, young folks and people who never left their hometown take the city limit lines way serious. People who move away or travel the world realize the metro area you grew up in is really small and it's all the same rather it's the main city or the burbs. It's like getting divided and fighting over your den and your living room.

I moved to Richmond from Virginia in 2011 and I find it to be a beautiful place.I have met plenty of people from the area and made new friends who were nice to me and helped guide me as a newcomer to their town.I always tell people Richmond is cool as long as you mind your own business you won't have any issues.

I used to be in Parchester Village in the late 90's an early 2000's fuckin with my potnas out there and I had a lil female out there from South Richmond that went to Gumpers. Shit was wild back then. When i was a teenager I took the wrong exit and ended up in Richmond. The cops saw a young white guy in the wrong neighborhood at night and pulled me over. They told me to get out of town. The police escorted me to the nearest freeway exit to make sure I left town.

Growing up in Central Richmond, I never crossed the tracks for years. As a kid all I knew is that N and C were beefing back then... I remember it was hella hard growing up in the 80s, 90s, 2000s in Richmond.

Im from the 408 San Jose aka "Silicon Valley," and it is definitely in the Bay. it's literally the South Bay Area! She is right in that Sacramento, Stockton, Fresno, is not in the Bay. I growing up I saw our Bay streets, counties, cities, and area codes built, change, and grow in good and bad ways. I went to parties, side shows, clubs, and concerts with E40, Mac Dre, Tupac, Too Short, Richie Rich, to name just a few bought music from Master P's bust down No Limit Records shop😂, shoped at Durants, cruised up and down Santa Clara St and El Camino Real just smashing from one end of the Bay to the other. Not mention, took part in the street races in San Jose and Oakland. JT the Bigga Figga did a show at our church in San Jose, the pastor stopped it and kicked everyone out for doing way too much! 🤣 Back then, four of our Bay cities, Palo Alto, Oakland, Hunters Point SF, and Richmond, were named murder capitals at one point. What these kids are doing now is nothing compared to what really went down back in the day. What we did then made the Bay what it is today!
