The Pipestem State Park looks like a beautiful place to visit. Our Sate and National Parks are truly treasured resources dedicated for use by all people. That lake seems like it would be a good fishing hole. I would imagine that they’ve stocked it with some good size rainbows. Many State Parks will have similar lodging, amenities, and wild caping opportunities that make for a good family vacation. Mike, I really appreciate you sharing this very interesting visit with us. I took Mack to Pipestem for his birthday a couple of years ago and we visited Bland County for the first time during that trip. For his birthday dinner we went to The Oak… one of the best meals we ever had. Thanks for posting this video. It’s bringing back lots of wonderful memories.
