An ox bow lake is cut off from the river. Basically its a bend in the river that erosion made the new channel in a straighter path.

I love everything you guys do. Huge crappie angler myself so I love the cooking parts too! I gotta recommend something though to make life a little easier. Buy some powder free exam gloves - they are great for cleaning a mess of crappie and would be great for making those fish cakes on the ice! Thanks for all the great content!

Pink recipes so good got me consider going swimming to get some crappies. Also I am not sure if cracking ice will get you off the hook Bart from baiting with beef jerky.

Renegade Neck Gaiter. Should be able to get it at Thorne Bros. We've been using them the whole time we've filmed this series. Low Key maybe the best piece of apparel we have.
