Can it be used in saltwater?

Yes it can, you just need to rinse it in fresh water after the swim. The motors are the most vulnerable part which could start corroding the fastest.

It is ABSOLUTELY worth that price. It's an incredibly well thought out course, covering more than just assembly. It talks about their design decisions, modifications, future plans, other ROVs. Nah, it's completely fair, you just maybe don't realize until you start the course.
