But there is a bit of a learning curve, and it's probably the only game I've ever rage quit out of frustration. But yes. The lore of the game is awesome, and Arcane is a GEM.

Great to see you start! Best things to remember are 1. avoid spoilers at all cost, 2. even items from the first episode come back in the last, and 3. hold on. Each episode is better than the last.

This show is a masterpiece in every way. Writing, acting, animation, music and characters. Glad you're reacting to it.

New Viewers: *Focus on the (micro) expressions of the characters.* Lots of things happen without (or very little) dialogue, but the characters *always* cue you in on how they feel even if they're not talking (or not telling the truth!). You *have* to read between the lines to get the most out of this show. Arcane is *so detailed* in this regard, and we're not trained to look for it in animation, that's why it's worth pointing out.

"Nobody even saw." "You blew up a building." This exchange always makes me laugh.

Favourite Moment 1: That Prologue. 3 1/2 minutes, not a single line of dialogue, but it makes you care about the main characters. 😢 Favourite Moment 2: Vi sneaking into the Last Drop looking completely guilty, followed by Vander's responsibility talk. So wholesome! Favourite Moment 3: Vi being a good big sister by showing Powder she's had bad days as well. Also super wholesome! Bonus Moment: "See this face? This will ALWAYS mean to SHUT UP!" I mean, come on. That one will never stop being awesome. Also thanks to Alanna for giving her thoughts on this. Because Arcane is so good, there simply can't be too much content about it.

Arcane is such a good series, hope you enjoy it. Another series you might want to check out is The Legend of Vox Machina, a show that was based on a dnd campaign. The voices of Lust and Mustang are in it and actually helped write it since they were in the original campaign.

I love this show, I knew nothing about League other than I was aware of the character Jinx, similar to you. Though I heard of her because of her theme song years ago, I liked the song and watched the music video for her. You don't need to know anything and IMHO it is better if you don't, I won't say why other than it makes the show more tense I think. Anyways I think you will like this, look forward to your next video.

Piltover`s the upper city, the self-proclaimed "City of Progress" yet paradoxically it is run by a Council who are stuck in the 19th Century(Or in Heimerdinger`s case, 307 years ago as he is a Yordle, in other words his magicphobia is extremely hypocritical as magic is what allows Yordles to live so much longer than us humans to begin with) and are extremely paranoid of magic due to past wars waged by mages in this universe and their repression of neighboring cities(Most notably Zaun, the undercity beneath Piltover who once tried to combine magic and science and were exiled,repressed, impoverished, criminalized and forced underground in toxic air conditions below Piltover`s Northside sewage lanes(Also called "Heaps" or "Sumps" at the very bottom levels) as a result).

I'm so happy you're starting to watch Arcane! Even people who never played League or know anything about it, or people who never watch anime can pretty much enjoy it. Hope you enjoy it too

The "League of Legends" has nothing to do with the show so don't worry. It's like an arena where champions from different places and periods fight trying to accomplish their own objectives. Some just go for the giggles and others are literal space dragon gods that got captured and are made to fight. The two sisters are, as adults, characters in the League along with a few other appearances in the show but people that play the game were never really given much lore about those two so it's all new for players too.

Heh, you know, honestly, you could’ve still watched all of the Trailers and still not have known about the Story and Plot.

This is the most exciting piece of media I've seen since Daredevil Season 3. The only downside is that once you've seen it, everything else looks like half-assed garbage in comparison.

"Discrimination against those with less money" you say. Those who are to be blamed are politicians for having bad policy. The first policy if you become president is to create jobs. Vietnam was a very poor country. As more and more jobs arrived, it grew more prosperous. Target unemployment will be 3% to 4%. 10% is bad, the level of unemployment USA had when hitting rockbottom in 2008 crisis. Those who fought in Vietnam would see an unrecognizable country with young people with decent jobs and cell phones. Same with China. Chinese people in the 1970s were a bunch of poor peasants growing rice. One things to avoid inequality is to make the gap between low income and higher income to never reach 10 to 1. Poverty is when someone has an income below a threshold, so by definition an unemployed is poor. Go give them a job so they stop being poor. But then there are those who have a mental issue, those who suffer a chronical disease or those who due to severe diability, either by old age or health issue, will need social protection with subsidies. The goal is to have a wide middle class. This is how you fight "discrimination". Once you fix that, healthcare sould be affordable, but conventional wisdom does not work, because people are unable to evaluate quality of medical service. So you cannot tell if diagnostic was correct or if the treatment was the most approriate. Aside of that, prices are inelastic, so people pay whatever price to stay alive. So competition does not fix anything. This is why the most complex branch of specialist in economics is health econmist. How about poor in other countries? Push diplomatiocally so politicians in that nation solve poverty. Foreign poor is not your problem, it is theirs. Fortiche is a French animation studio, and French royalty had been especially incompetent to generate jobs, and very good at taking everything from people to live a luxurious life. This is reflected in Arcane.

Hm, it’s okay if you don’t play the game, however i highly recommend checking out or even react to any of the Cinematics of League of Legends they are quite intriguing and very nicely done, they really bring the World of Runeterra to life, especially the Tales of Runeterra Mini-Series, of course the Cinematics and Tales of Runeterra would better of being things to go for once after you gone through all of Season 1 of Arcane, we wouldn’t want you to get spoiled now, would we? So, i guess that’s something to look forward to after being done with Arcane, if you’re interested of course?
