Comic shops never removed the top 1/3 of covers, newsstands did. Comic shops got and still do, get their books from direct distribution with no returns (But a much lowered price) This is called a "Remaindered" copy.

I live nearby this shop and it's amazing. It's where I got my first cgc comic. U should go to top hat comics too the guy that works there is amazing and they got some good stuff there, I go there almost every weekend.

Comic books that one would very much like to stay properlly preserved are actually not meant to be touched. If you had any brains in that bald head as well as a modicum of respect you would wear some type of gloves. Very simple thing to do. Also it seems to me that more and more you go out just wanting to start something even hoping for some issues. (Not comic book issues) Much better ways to gain more and more views my dude.

Make sure you ask customers inside the store if they want to buy some books! 😆😆🫡🫡 haha JK.
