I got the TBE 550 a few weeks ago. It has been Rock Solid. I am working in the food-grade / sanitary environment. I normally clean my welds with Scotch-Brite by hand or on my angle grinder. This has been a game-changer for me. Also when I use the machine I charge an upcharge per hour. It should be able to pay for itself in 9 to 10 weeks. The only thing that I do different than the video is I hold the wand in one spot for 3 to 4 seconds before I start moving across the weld. I don't necessarily brush back and forth. The Polish mode just brightens everything up and gives the whole area a better look. The customers have taken notice!

We've used these for years. They work slick. The biggest challenge is just training people to use it right and properly clean afterwards. We have a 700 in a full production environment for 8 years, small parts, big 1000 lb enclosures, everything. Other than basic wear and tear, it's worked flawlessly the whole time.

I use an old battery charger with a carbon fibre brush. It works just as good. Though if you you want flexibility you can pay between $3000 to $6000 for this machine. You should avoid arching out as much as possible excessive arching can cause carbon inclusion.

The TIG Brush uses a combination of heat, electricity and chemistry to clean and passivate

Welds with color are oxidized which may contribute to sensitization. This device passivates stainless which is the opposite of sensitization. Chromium is what makes stainless resist corrosion. Chromium burns out when exposed to air, this is "sugaring". Carbon can precipitate chromium in Weld HAZ.

Price is too high for what it is! My chineesse crapy weld cleaner does the same thing. For 300$ not 7000$. I also use surfox weld cleaner in the past and my cheap machine take less than 2 minute more to clean the tig weld you can do in a day.

@@TJCaton91 I'm sure this thing is great, and it clearly does what it says on the tin, but it's literally an *accessory* that costs more than a pretty blue TIG machine. That's excessive.

Use a welding machine😂 for tig brush. Russian used and work good. DCEN 25Amps + phosphoric acid, used in the food industry

this mig shaped brush is probrably the only reason why i don't buy this it looks painful to use , they need to make a brush actual brush like thing this idea that welding companyhave to thing everything needs to look like a tig or mig gun

TigBrush is a great little machine but honestly extremely overpriced. I work as a welder/teacher for one of the biggest sheet metal fabrication companies in the world and we do this stuff quite often, however we use Italian made machines that cost about 75% less than TigBrush and do the job just as good. Not trying to hate i just think it's way over marketed and priced.
