Welded my own quick attach plates, upgrade Mahindra from on loader to skid steer quick attach

I'm this video I use my Lincoln Electric Eagle 10000 plus welder and my Lincoln Electric Tomahawk 375 Air plasma cutter to fabricate a universal skid steer quick attach for my Mahindra tractor 4110.
this is something I've been wanting to build for a long time, and I finally got around to it. I decided to make a video on it, since I've seen 1 or 2 others, I filmed 95% of the build.

Looks great. Looks like I'll have to do the same, as Woods discontinued their quick attach conversion for the LC96. I have a center hyd cylinder though, so might be able to use the bucket pin flanges on the adapter. Thanks for the demonstration on how to do this.

Right on. Good luck! Measure twice and double check clearances. I still need to paint mine. But it does work really well.

I bought the same adapter plates but my loader arms are closer together so then levers are between the two ears on each side. I was hoping for something as simple as yours.

Why you welding that 7018 downhill brother? Flat or vertical up is what it's designed for. Your welds will be prettier that way. Nice fab job nonetheless.

My impression is that you will weld this device to the bucket? If so, will you repeat the process w/your pallet forks currently on the tractor? Also, concerning the forks, are they something you fabricated, or are they factory (Mahirdra) implement? if the latter, could you please tell me the model, or part number/year(if necessary) for them? Lastly, it appears to me you can move the forks closer, or spread them further apart, plz is this correct? Thx from Round Valley AZ.

Hello sorry for delay. 1. This part mounts to the tractor, the bucket will get a universal adapter plate (like a skid steer or bobcat). 2. My loader and attachments are a brand called Kansas Machine Works (KMW). They all came with the tractor back in 2000. Model of loader is ML112. Not sure about bucket and forks. But it's an outdated design, universal skid steer style is the standard now. 3. The forks are adjustable, mid point to far right and same for left. All manual by hand. Hope that helps.

You don't weld the plate to the loader bucket, unless you need something simple, and want to lose the load capacity of what the plate weighs. You are essentially welding a flat steel plate, to another flat steel plate. All you need is the top and bottom angled plates, welded to the back of your bucket, to engage the quick attach.

What is the diameter of the wedge pins? Are they the same as Bobcat style - 1.20" OD?

Great video, But how high are the 4 brackets you made. 16 inches long but you don't mention the height.

The metal I bought was 6" x 1/4” flat metal or strap metal. The 6" from the adapter plates gave me plenty of room to drill new pin holes.

Thanks for the reply. I made mine 8 inches high since I wasn’t sure it would clear the attaching pins. But your video helped out a lot. Many thanks for doing this for for all the Mahindra owners out there.

First time viewer. Should work great. Just for aesthetics and safety I would have cut off those large square corners and made it more rounded and possibly sloping. You are going to think of that the first time you are bending over or climbing over and bang a knee, elbow or your head on it.

You could have just added 2 inches of plate to the peaces from the bucket.

Yeah I started to do that, if you'll notice at the 1:07 -1:11 mark. I cut off the bucket brackets, but it wasn't enough to to clear the skid steer plate. I tried it, and I'm glad I measured it before I welded it and went too far. It wouldn't work.
