this should be the very last video of 2015. So if you would, leave your comments as to what you would like to see in 2016. Examples:
tig welding thin aluminum, welding titanium, stainless steel pipe, dual shield flux core, innershield, overhead welding...you get the drift.

Just found your videos a couple of weeks ago and I'm new to TIG welding. I appreciate your teaching style. Your humility, apathy and energy make you a great teacher. Thank you for your smooth, non pretentious delivery. lots of videos on KZfaq from people who need to tone it down a bit. I'm just soaking it all in.....thanks a lot.

Great looking cart! I've got a budget 40 amp plasma, that quit working, I sent it to a guy and he got it all fixed up, and he puts a 5 yr warranty on the plasma cutters that he fixes. Thanks for all the great videos in 2015 and I look forward to 2016. Thanks again.

Thanks jody, for this year i`ve been able to apply almost everything i have learned from you. i`ve said this many times, i don`t have the resources to go to some welding school nor the time or an experienced welder to ask first person but you answered many questions i made (even some dumb ones). i can come to your channel and every- single- time i learn something, i even learn things i forgot (ha) !. if things go right next year i`ll pay forward. thanks again and happy new year for you, your family and this beautiful community of weldors on yt. pete

Thanks for al the videos and keep'em coming. I can honestly say you actually tought me how to weld (TIG and stick in my case). Just by watching your videos I got exited about welding and started buying equipment, even my first couple of welds with a small inverter went alright, just because the fact I recognised what I was seeing from your videos. Now my first TIG welds are coming along ok, and I'll be starting welding classes next year! THanks bud!

Cool to see a new AHP product. I have their 200 amp TIG welder and have found it to be phenomenal. AC, DC, and stick, all have performed well above my expectations. Thanks for another great video. best welding videos period. i am not a professional welder but i have been welding for about 40 yrs , your videos make me feel like ive been living under a rock.you do a great job covering the various welding processes. i would love to see some more projects like the weld cart. my old millermatic 200 would benifit from a tow hitch instead of a cart. love those new inverters. i see you placed the mig on the middle shelf. will this cause a problem accessing the drive roll compartment. all the best to you and your family in the coming year.

Hi Jody Great videos and always something new to learn. I'm self taught tig welding from your video's and I'm pretty happy with how I'm going. It would be very helpfull to see a few episodes on some of the cheaper DC only TIG machines that are not compatible with a food pedal control. Things like heat input travel speed and how to deal with tig welding situations where you don't have the option to bring the amperage up or down with the pedal.

Hey Jody! When you come around to that dual shield flux core video, you should include tips for using ceramic backing tiles in all G positions. Along with SMAW, this is a standard test for employment in the Shipbuilding / Ship repair industry. I had to learn the hard way. Trial and error after work when I was a helper. There's not enough information let alone videos about this on the net and I think alot of people could benefit from it if they are planning to go into this field.

Thanks for the video's each week Jody. What I would like to see is a project like the welding cart, but done with a stick welder instead of a mig welder. Tips on keeping the rod angle consistent when going around a corner or when welding a tube. Maybe doing some thin metal with those tiny little 1/16th stick rods. Sometimes you need to do a small quick repair and I know that a mig makes something like that much easier, not everyone has a mig welder. Thanks!

In 2016, I could use some more basics for us newbies. What I struggle with is: - keeping things 90 degrees while welding (or whatever the angle); my tacks don't prevent the warping. - how best to clean and prepare the metal for good paining results; I spend so much time with scale and rust and oil that it is 2 or 3 times the effort cutting and welding. - choosing the right MIG heat and wire speed. I still struggle with knowing when these are optimal.

Would love to see more types of welding, especially for industrial settings. More spray transfer, large diameter flux core, possibly welding of castings, multi pass welding (12-15 passes) Would also like to see how you handle different joint connections, like angle to tube, tube to tube, tube to plate, angle to angle, etc and how you weld each joint and how you can weld them if you cant manipulate the part. Basically how most of us would be welding up small home projects. More out of position mig welding. Check out Keith Fenners channel for the plasma can help! Better get a pop away! Great work, look forward to the videos every week
