I would hope for Quality over Quantity. I am glad they have a new strength and conditioning team to help prevent all those injuries. With all the Conference games jammed in at the end of the year, we will be lucky to be able to field a team in week 17.

the Steelers are simply built differently. of course we try to go quality over quantity and we will be fine this upcoming season with fewer coaches. more most certainly doesn't always mean better as we been the outlier as you've mentioned. infact I see great things with this staff this season. with the ONLY assistant I see us needing being a person closely watching debatable plays to help Tomlin know better when to challenge.

The way these folks come and go why have a huge staff most teams with big staffs is because of bad coaches . To many chefs ruin the soup !

Tomlin has no coaching tree. His coaches are nobody's so that he can walk all over them, and call the offense and defensive plays himself. Tomlin would still have Canada, but the Rooneys made Tomlin fire him. Tomlin could walk all over Canada but not Arthur Smith so our offense should definitely be better this year

Excellent commentary...you get what you pay for. Yes the Pittsburgh Steelers are cheap. And the fact that Mike Tomlin is still the head coach says volumes about Mike Tomlin's willingness to run with a nobody coaching staff because he has zero ability to work with and retain a competent staff. Great job AR2, thanks for not putting money in the coaching staff and destroying a once proud Steeler Franchise with your go along to get along stooge Mike Tomlin. The Steelers are no longer worth watching. Boycott!
