Wells Fargo facing new backlash over alleged fraudulent accounts

Wells Fargo has faced steep fines in the past for accounts opened without customers’ consent. Now, there are new claims of imposters setting up accounts in what appears to be a case of synthetic identity fraud. Wells Fargo says the allegations against the bank are “without merit.” NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin reports.

They got away with it once, no one went to jail, just some fines. So why not? Time to get rid of any bank chain that does this kind of crap.

I'm a loader. I load USA,Canada and UK banks. Credit Unions Banks.💰🏦 Local Banks.💰 🏦 National Banks.💰🏦wellsfargo Chase PNC Boa Nfcu And more local banks .For bank loading, We have different kinds of loading which are; ACH,Mobile Deposit(MD),Wire check,Checkbook and so many others but these are the common ones. Now,when you send me an empty bank online access but with transaction history ,I’ll login and let you know the kind of loading that can be done in your bank account because not all bank has ach nor MD hence we ask for logins.We also login to know the nature of your bank and the kind of money that can enter to prevent blocking. So, in bank loading, you can make $2500, $10k or even $100k depending on the bank account.

I left Wells Fargo years ago when they tried to force me to get additional car insurance, when I already had full coverage insurance on my vehicle. They should have been shut down long ago.

Everyone, I’ve been in banking for 20 years, worked for Chase, BoFa, and Wells. This happens all the time between all American North American banks. Its one of the hardest things for banks to prevent which is identity thief. With online digital acct openings, it happens all over American banks. This is not just a Wells Fargo issue, this is a North American banking issue.

So a fraudster commits fraud (at many, many banks across the entire continent) and that makes Wells Fargo corrupt? The real question is why are they only reporting that this happened at Wells Fargo when it's been happening for many years long before now and virtually every bank in the US? Fraudsters commit fraud, which is why fraud departments exist at banks, and which is why this man was able to get this account shut down. Fraudsters are corrupt, not banks. Furthermore, if people didn't like Wells Fargo and stopped using them, they would be out of business. But they're not, because people keep using their service.

There is a wells Fargo in Montgomery Al where labor finders and labor ready employees with fraudulent pay cards with casino debt get new bankers to give them.info on others accounts and I have an account and where I worked took money from drink machines and when I reported it to my bank they fired me. They still owe me from the drink machines so I'm filing a police report abd an irs report since I was already a victim of identity theft from 2010.

Please if you receive any letter please complain about the amount and they will offer you an additional amount of $250 to accommodate any fees !!!

I made a substantial payment on my account and my next balance was more than the previous one and I said, how was this, and she said oh it's because you are late making the payment. I said, no I wasn't I paid over the phone. And she even read the dates of the payment and I said ma'am, whenever y'all decide to process the payment I can't help it, if I make a payment and then you decide to process it long after it's late that's not my fault. It's not like I made the payment a day of or two before so I told her I'm making another payment this time and next month I'm paying it off. It was financed for 3 years and I'm not even a year in and I've already paid for the price of the damned thing, plus a decent down-payment. 😡 Oh and by the way their so called "late fees" yeah they're an extra payment tacked on to the next one. but I don't care how you slice it the math isn't mathing. Basically even if you add on an extra payment and then double the interest it still shouldn't have been what it was. They are literally adding extra payments as "late fees", that aren't late, and saying it is, even when you pay over the phone early. I wouldn't do business with them to finance a toothpick.

The worst experience of my professional career was WF! It's hard to know how this can happen, and the benefit when the new accounts are inactive, have no balances, or the credit cards are not used.

Apparently it is true what Sen Warren is saying about Wells. I just left the TD BANK and me and another costumer was talking and Wells Fargo Came up. A third costumer chimed in and said they are closing locations!

WF bank opened checking account with no signature. Over a month later signatures sheet was mailed to sign with all personal info. Full SS # drivers license # account # address and phone # etc. WF bank denied my claims repeated 8 mo to unauthorised transaction(Altered Payee) So many unsatisfied matters at this WF bank, terrible service. WF requires to make an appt to get help. Had to wait 30min to get a copy of deposit agreement even there was no customer and 7-8 employees all free. They just don't help.
