I agree on the Wells Lamont. They are a good glove. My troubles are the sock monster that gets steals my socks from the washer/dryer process, seems to steals my gloves as well. and never the full pair ... just one. I am right handed and those are the ones that go missing. So I figure the monster must be right handed as well. Then when I go out and buy new ones, seems he puts the ones he took around the shop, shed or vehicle so I just laugh. What else can I do ? Don't need to go crazy worrying about missing socks and gloves :)

I just bought a pair of handy andy's and I'm a fan. In my job we get gloves all the time usually 4 pairs year, they are the expensive gloves $15-$20 a pair. I think I'll just get a 12 pack next time. Thanks for the knowledge.

I was delighted to hear you use Pilot G2 pens, Looms.. I love those.. best pens I've ever used, even better than some that cost absurd amounts of money. :)

Yep, great pens. I first ran into them years ago at a parts store when I had to fill out some papers. I was immediately impressed and hunted some up for myself, and have used only them since. Many times I have had someone borrow one, and after using it they always have to look to see what it was, they are noticeably better.

@@wellslamont Are these gloves still made with goatskin? I picked up a few pair that are cow and they don't come up on your website as goat anymore. This would be disappointing. Thanks

Wells Lamont gloves are the best, once broken in (new, they’re slippery and don’t fit well…some dirt, oil, grime and a trip or two through the wash and they simply can’t be beat).

Was a Groundsmen today for a large tree service. Only had wells Lamont soft leather gloves.. My mistake . Was 12 degrees. First time doing tree work in low temperature.. Wasn't fun.

Well after watching this video a couple times I found the Handy Andy gloves on Amazon and I could get them in Canada. So I ordered a dozen. I'm very impressed. I was using Green King rig gloves. They are ok but they've really gone up in price. I like the idea of a cheap washable glove. Thank you

Always had those during potato picking time. Father got them by the boxes. Have the leather hydrahyde, with back leather to. Also the cheaper cloth backed gloves for wood handling, they last awhile heavier leather than most. Local just sells crap $4 gloves and want $12 for them. Wells Lamont is a great brand, forget them cheap substitutes that you're going to be charged the same for.

+Logcabinlooms, Looks like good Gloves. I am an Oiler, for a living , I use Oil and Grease every day, also tools. I use Cotton Gloves. It's kind of a waste because I go through so many of them. I tried Rubber Gloves but with them, I can't grip My tools, the Cotton takes the Oil off My Skin. Some days I go through several pairs.

The only downside to the NATO cans is you have to be sneaky about filling them. You need to hit something like a convenience store where they are too busy to notice you are using something other than those red UL approved travesties.

We use to go thru the brown jersey gloves at work like wild fire....I still use them for stacking wood....not good on a cold day!....Did ya ever have a pair of leather chopper mitts????
@logcabinlooms
@logcabinlooms 8 жыл бұрын
Those brown jersey gloves are great for driving, or shooting, but if its cold I put a pair of the wool fingerless gloves over them, that's a great combination. Keeps your hands warm, but you still have sensitivity in you fingertips.
@logcabinlooms
@logcabinlooms 8 жыл бұрын
I have a pair of the choppers, but they do restrict what you can do, its like having lobster claws. The only time I use them is on the dog sled, and then I always wear the brown jersey gloves underneath. That way you still have some protection from the cold when you have to slip them off to work snaps and buckles if the dogs get in a tangle.

I wear thru the right one being right handed and end up with a lot of left ones...I too just came back from my Fleet Farm today in Wisconsin...not many people in town shopping! Gas is $1.69/ gal here and I bet it goes lower...crude oil went down again today.. All ways enjoy your vids!

gman77gas I always get in the same bind, a pile of lefts, I always figured they should throw a couple extra rights in a bundle. Now if you could find a left handed guy to cooperate with it might work, but lefty's are notoriously uncooperative.

logcabinlooms I have my choppers for 44 years! My mom and grandma sew yarn mittens for the inside...I was given my first set of leather choppers as a youth by my friends dad...they are warm with the knit mittens and the leather makes them water proof...but yes they limit movement...great for snow shoveling and ice fishing!

Sneaky bastards! I have a pack of those gloves. But I don't think they are Wells Lamont. They just made them to look like the real thing and I fell for it. But they aren't to bad. I do think I found one with the side of the finger hanging open one time.

A guy I was fencing for bought a bundle of off brand leather gloves, about 1/4 of them had fingers that hadn't been stitched right, and the rest fell apart in a very short time of use. Better to pay a little more and have something you can work with. What always impressed me with wells Lamont is they know how to work the balance between price and quality.
