The only aim in Rust is to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

When your new to a complicated competitive game, dying over and over gets upsetting. So when you get help and feel usefull/powerful it's an amazing feeling. I had an experience like this playing don't starve together. Was with a group on a server that told me not to leave after a death. Because of their patience I learned ALOT about the game.

@@domm3361 well kinda, but as an experienced raider and usually the base builder, the bases he makes are quite casual, and super super easy to know where the loot is stored. But since they're online most of the time, it doesnt really matter I guess. Usually I already build knowing I'll be offline raided, so the trick is knowing where the loot is ahaha one time the base got raided like 4-5 times, and we didnt switch to a new one. Raiders never knew where the hell was the loot xD

Yeah, that's the part that baffles me. Like, Welyn is a nice guy. If they'd asked to team up for something, he'd probably have seriously considered it. Hell, he might have let them join up to help fortify the island. Instead, they tried to blackmail him...the who regularly takes on the toughest targets he can find, including stream snipers, and wins.
