Boycotting the matches, not buying the merchandise, not spending any money towards the club is the only option to change things! Simple logic, if the club is refusing to spend then why the hell should the FANS spend?!!! Is this even justified? As of now, absolutely nothing affects them and they don't give a fuck about what goes on in the stadium or outside it. As much as I feel the fans anger and frustration, me being one of them, I need to ask a few questions. I feel you might be the right person for this. If you agree in slightest, please spread the message. There was a time when Arsenal had a team of Squillacci, Chamakh, Bendtner, Denilson etc. We used to play good football and were obviously in top 4. In the last 2 years, I've seen a rise in "rants" on social media and so called "banners" and protests and aeroplanes and stuff. Protests on streets, protests inside stadium what not. My question: What was actually achieved with all those protests, rants, aeroplanes and abuses? Evrybody thought by doing that, there might be some change, I don't see any change do you? In fact, board and Wenger pissed on all people ranting and protesting by signing a 2 year contract. Now what? Do you actually in some parallel universe believe the same protests will now have any effect on board or Wenger? The protests could have been the most effective last season when Wenger was out of contract to force him out, how on earth are you going to force him out by booing, banner protesting or flying aeroplanes when he just signed a new contract? Even if we do see a change, which is unlikely for me, how much time it would take, weeks or months or an year? What would be the atmosphere inside the stadium and outside? Will it affect players mentality and performance? What about new players being monitored, will they be willing to sign for a club which is in turmoil? I always give example of Dortmund and At. Madrid. Both clubs operate on a low spending budget. Both clubs sell their best players almost every year. Still the fans are cheering the players on the pitch? Why? Why are they not ranting, moaning pulling banners and flying aeroplanes. Both clubs are only in UCL, will probably never win it. Both fight for the league title, mostly not winning it. Why do I not see any protests happening there? The reason is they are proper fans. All this fan divide..this Wenger In-Wenger Out..when did it start happening? Since the famous rants on AFTV...yes AFTV !! Now you will say I'm blaming AFTV and Robbie for Arsenal's situation..NO absolutely Not. I'm blaming AFTV and Robbie to create this fan divide with unnecessary "rants". He even puts the title as rants..just like Lee did in this video. Unsurprisingly, you too commented saying "Great Rant Lee". Is this "rant" a trend or a fad? The club is in turmoil but more than half of that is credit to deluded and stupid fans who support these rants and banners and protests. This ONLY WORSENS THE SITUATION. I want a change too. I want Wenger and Kroenke to leave 100% so that the club has fresh ideas to move forward. But Wenger has been here for 21 years. You can't rant, protest fly aeroplanes and think that he will leave NO WAY..he isn't Moyes, LVG or Rodgers. Arsenal fans, as they have been brainwashed by AFTV try to take a leaf out of of these managers who were sacked, but forget the very basics that he is A LEGEND at the club whether you like it or hate it. You can't force him out and to be fair, being here for 21 years he has earned the right to leave on his terms. And I say this as a fan who wants a change like already said. Do try to understand the "bigger picture". Stop stuffing your brain with all the negativity and shit from media and AFTV and chill. Every team has performed poorly and sold its best players, like I said with Dortmund and At Madrid without posing any concrete challenge for trophies. Take a leaf out of those clubs and those fans. If that's too much to ask for, keep calm and support the players and the club without creating a toxic environment. Forget Ox and Sanchez, if this toxicity from fans continue, no player will stay or sign for Arsenal in next 2 years. It ONLY MAKES IT WORSE !! Support the team through thick and thin, don't expect too much and be calm for 2 years. Wenger will leave on his own as he deserves, happily, proudly and we will sign him off with applause. Do the opposite, and result is already in front of you--on the streets, on the field, on the league table now and on the league table last season when Arsenal finished 5th. Always remember, we finished better and challenged better with worse players, the only difference now is that instead of supporting now we rant, moan, compare and protest. Be a real "supporter" not one who hunts "glory" and changes jerseys when the chips are down. Bring the roof down with chants and cheers, and see how the team responds. I'm not deluded, although I might appear to people who have programmed their minds for these rubbish negativity. But like I said, IT ONLY WILL MAKE IT WORSE. Hope I made a bit sense.
