Projects like this always fill me with joy. In this seemingly dark & gloomy world of earthquakes in Japan & civil war in Libya, I love to hear reassuring and inspiring stories such as this, of people working to reclaim a bit of the past in a machine that will live on for years to come. Thank you Wensleydale Railway for posting this great video. I really needed that emotional boost. I look forward to hearing more about this, and the many other steam engine rebuilds taking place throughout the UK.

I hope this goes well. I just pray that it won't be painted in BR black. Lner green or Ger blue would be gorgeous.

@ThomasIsAJinty Apologies I just got confused. As you said it's An Ner loco. I accidentally thought it was a great eastern engine. Whoops :D
